Trigger Warning: Suicide/ Eating Disorders/ Drug Abuse

George's eyes flickered open like a computer that hadn't been used for years. "Hey." His voice was raspy, almost as if he was a middle-aged chain smoker. "What happened to you?" Tears were rushing to my eyes and I felt like I was about to lose my balance. "I think it's about time to tell you... I- I've been seeing someone else. And... It's... The person that hurt you the most. I'm sorry..." the voice I once knew was shaking but he showed no emotion on his face. His words hit me like a million knives at once. Suddenly, She walked out of the bathroom. I can't believe I trusted this girl once. She had dark bags under her eyes and was skinnier than I had ever seen her. Looking like a crackhead that had never heard of sleep, out came Sophie. Betrayal hit me in my stomach like a metal rod. I tried to get words to come out of my mouth, but all I could manage to whimper was a weak "... What?" Before losing all consciousness.

I woke up, the pain in my head throbbing as if someone was pounding their fists on the insides of my skull. "Wake up." I heard him say as he was shaking me awake. It all seemed like a nightmare, a dream that I would wake up from sooner or later, and be in his arms, listening to his steady heartbeat. Sophie was standing a few feet away from him. She didn't look surprised. "You fucking bitch." I muttered as anger flooded through my veins. She stared at me with blank eyes as if she didn't know what to say. "You fucking bitch." I repeated, edging closer to her. My eyes flamed with fury as I stood inches from her face. "Look at what you made him!" I screamed as I brought my fist to her face, causing her to stumble and nearly fall. "I made him like this?" She hissed, spitting the words into my face.

I was enraged. I walked up to her and grabbed her chin and a lock of her jet-black hair, holding it up with a devilish look on my face. Sophie herself looked terrified, as if I was about to throw her off a building, which I was tempted to do at the moment. "You, this whole time. The texts, everything. You're a fucking rat. I hope your future holds nothing but a shit life ahead of you. You're a fucking disgrace. Look at you. Fucking kill yourself and rot in hell, bitch-" "Enough!" George shouted. I once again threw her face down onto the bed, sending her further than I had intended. "Get out of my house." George growled. "Get out!" I glared at him and spat onto his floor before running out of his house and slamming the door behind me.

I ran, tears running down my cheeks. Everything was a blur, I couldn't see a thing. A blur of fall, grey skies, and confused people. I ran onto the roof of my apartment, sobbing. "Ma'am, you don't have to do this." I heard from below. I inspected the murmuring crowd that had gathered, everyone each had something to say against my decision. A boy with chestnut hair that fell over his eyes, a girl with beautiful hazel eyes and dirty blonde hair. A man with short, black curly hair and a woman with the same type but longer. The rest of the people were too blurry to make out. "Stand back, please." I said as I neared the edge. "I hope this makes you happy, George." Were the last words I said before I went soaring over the edge, spreading my arms out as I flew forward, facing down for a quicker death. Thoughts ran through my head, but the last thing I heard was a familiar voice scream, "No!"
