Dylan's POV

It was 8:30am when I woke up. Light was shining through my open curtains. I must have forgotten to close them last night. The first person I thought of when I woke was Cassidy. This trip has been great but I wish I had gotten more alone time with Cass. I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss we shared on Friday. I longed to feel the warmth of her lips again...

"Dylan?" Willow's voice snapped me out of my daze. There was a soft knock at my door.

"Are you in there?"

"Yep! Hold on." I replied as I quickly chucked on a jacket. I opened the door and I was immediately greeted with warm air, coming from the direction of the fire place.

"Mrs Moore made pancakes!" Willow said excitedly as we both walked to the kitchen.

"Can you eat pancakes yet Willow?" Kaitlyn said. Everyone was already sitting down, helping themselves to breakfast.

"In a couple of days I'll be able to." Willow sighed.

"Right now, I'm not supposed to have any sugar because my stomach can't handle it yet." She shrugged.

"It looks so good." Willow groaned as she sat down at the table.

"Aren't you having any?" I whispered to Kaitlyn as I sat down next to her.

"No, I don't have carbs or sugar in the morning." She replied curtly.

"So, how about we leave at 2pm? That will still give us time to go skiing again." Cassidy said as she popped a piece of pancake into her mouth.

"Sounds good." I answered.

"Hello everyone." A deep male voice sounded from
behind me. I turned around and saw a tall figure. He had brown hair with streaks of grey and he looked so much like Cass.

"Hi dad." Cassidy smiled.

"Don't tell me you drove the Kombi Van down." Cassidy's dad said as he sat down beside me.

I felt a bit scared because he looked really disapproving. How would he react when he found out I was Cassidy's boyfriend?

"Okay, I won't." Cassidy laughed.

"I've told you before Cassidy, that van is not good for the snow. Who brings a kombi van to the snow?" Her dad's tone was harsh yet he still laughed afterwards. His laugh was deep and throaty. It was almost a bark rather than a laugh.
