Taylor's POVRoom 36, where is that again?
I turned down multiple hallways before I reached classroom 32.
Okay, we're getting close.
33, 34, 35...
36!
I peered in and saw Cassidy sitting by herself doing her work. She must of got a detention. Who knew Cass was such a trouble maker!
Oh well. I guess I'll catch up with her another time.
I was about to walk away when something caught my attention. A bright red lever that read,
'Pull In Case Of Fire.'
I quickly looked around to see if anyone was watching. Damn! There are security cameras all around this place. There's no way I could pull that lever and get away with it.
Then, I had another idea.
Cassidy better appreciate what I'm going to do for her. I walked outside and towards the windows of classroom 36. Here goes nothing. I ran up towards the window and slammed my hand against the cold glass. I didn't use too much pressure as I didn't want the glass to break, but I used enough pressure to make a loud noise and get the teachers attention. The teacher inside whipped her head around and strutted towards the window sill.
She shook her head at me and just when she turned around, I hit the window another time. The teacher looked like she was going to burst.
I risked a quick look at Cass and saw that she was laughing. The teacher walked out of the classroom and straight to me."What do you think you're doing?!" She yelled while shakily pointing a finger at me.
"Do you attend this school?"
I nodded my head slowly.
Shit, I needed a way out of this. Thousands of different ideas were running through my head but as the teacher was getting closer, I needed to act fast.
I walked towards her slowly and then purposefully slipped and fell onto my back. The teacher gasped.
I closed my eyelids shut and pretended to be knocked out or maybe she thought I had fainted or something. It was a stupid idea, but I didn't care. I just needed enough time for Cassidy to leave the classroom."Wake up!" She shook my shoulder violently. What a bad first aid teacher this was.
"Cassidy Moore, get back in the classroom!" The teacher yelled.
This teachers voice was so annoying. I'm so glad I don't have her.
"But I can help!" Cassidy said impatiently.
It took every ounce of my self control not to laugh.
"What can you possibly do?" The teacher questioned.
Even if I had actually fainted, Cassidy would be a much better help than this lousy teacher.
"I have been trained in first aid." Cassidy replied and suddenly someone's cold hands were on my forehead. Then, were checking my pulse.
"I think he's fainted." Cassidy decided.
"He's faking!" The teacher snapped.
"I don't think he is, Mrs Anderson. He needs rest. I can take him home if you like?" Cassidy suggested.
The teacher groaned.
"Fine! But I want you back in detention tomorrow!"
Relief flooded through me. As if this actually worked!
"Hello? Can you hear me?" Cassidy asked and then she slapped me in the cheek. I opened my eyes slowly and saw that the teacher had gone back inside.
We were silent for a few seconds before we both burst out laughing.
"I can't believe you did that!" She laughed as she helped me up.
"I can't believe you didn't fall for my acting skills!" I smirked.
"Come on, Mrs Anderson will be watching us." Cassidy whispered as she held out her hand and motioned for me to follow her. Without even thinking about it, I took her hand and we walked towards her car together. As soon as we got in her car I said,
"Come back to my house. We can chill."
"Sound good." She said with a smile.
