Chapter 5: Surprise Attack

Eren's POV:

When Zandra left, Hannes came up to us.

For the first time in a long time, his breath didnt stink of alcohol.

"Wow, so I heard you three graduated last night. Hard to believe that the last time I saw you is when you were little kids." Hannes said to us.

"Yea, well we are not little kids anymore, Hannes. We've grown up, and matured." I told him.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to save your mother," Hannes said sadly.

"It's alright, now that we are fighting, I'm not going to let anything sad like that ever happen again," I replied sad, but confident.

After that Hannes said goodbye, for he has duties to fulfill.

Then we were sent in groups to clean sections of the cannons on the wall. The team I was in was stationed above the gate that lead into Wall Maria.

When we got back to work after Sasha came up to us hiding meat in her coat, we had a surprise attack...

It was no other than...

The Colossal Titan....

It took back its huge leg and kicked a whole in the wall where the gate was.

The steam it let off was so hot! It blew all of us off the wall!

We all hung on with our 3DMG. Then the memory of my mom getting eaten came to mind...

"Prepare for combat! Our target is the Colossal Titan!" I yelled.

Though no one moved except for me.

When I got back to the top if the wall. I stood beside it, looking at it at an angle.

"Hey, there..."

"It's been 5 years..."

Zandra's POV

We were finally at out destination!

We were clearing some of the Titans out of the village, then I heard a

BOOM!!!!

I was in Levi's squad and I looked over to where the sound came from...

It sounded like it came from Trost.

"Hey Levi, did you here that?" I asked.

"No," he replied coldly and looked the direction I was looking.

Then I looked closer, I had very good vision. But I couldn't quite see it clearly. If only I could fly closer...

(Description of what this is meaning will be later on in the story)

Then I saw something red, and it was taller than the walls!

My eyes widened. Were my eyes playing a trick on me? I hope they were. I quickly left Levi's squad to find Erwin.

"Erwin!" When I found him I quickly yelled, "The Colossal Titan, is back,"

"Are you sure? how do you know?" he asked.

"I heard a loud boom, then I saw a tall red figure."

Erwin's eyes grew large and sent me back to Trost to help. Just as I left, he started gathering the survey corps to head back to Trost to help. I just hope that everyone is okay... Especially Eren, Armin, and Mikasa. Because I have a feeling those three are who the prophecy was talking about...
