Urushihara's pov
I sit at my computer. She unfriended me. Frustrated I break my boxes, cuz anything else Ashiya and Maou would make me pay for it with money I don't have. After I destroy my "bed" I go to take them out to a dumpster. Maou and Ashiya get home while I lay down in the middle of the room.
"You all right urushihara?" I groan and roll over onto my stomach. "She doesn't remember. I'm forgotten. It's like.... like we never mattered. If I disappeared now, she wouldn't care!" I put my face in my arms as I fight not to scream into them. Ashiya sits down next to me and rubs my back. I look up confused and Maou hands me a cup of fries and a drink. I sit up and hesitate to take it.
"Guys.... what's going on?" Maou sighs. "Well, its hard on all of us that she forgot us, but we realize it's even harder for you. If chi or emi suddenly forgot me, I'd feel pretty depressed too." Ashiya nods. "Or miss Rika too. I know we're hard on you, but that's because we want to keep you safe and out of trouble." I take a sip and it's (y/n)'s favorite drink that she also got me addicted to. I look up at them.
"I'm not a child, but you are my superiors. I need air. Can go?" Maou nods. "Yea, just don't kidnap human girls and destroy bridges." He laughs and I smile as I leave. They're trying. It's creepy.
I walk to the park and sit under a tree with my P.A.S.T.A system. I play a game and start it over from the beginning. I've already beaten it, but it gives me a sense of something familiar and constant. Every time I die though I punch the ground in frustration. After a while I finish the game and there's a decent sized hole next me in the ground. I wipe off my hand and stretch. I check the time. (Y/n) and chi got out of school an hour ago.
I look around and see the park scattered with high school students..... maybe.... maybe I should ask Maou. Here on earth, im registered as 17. That's still in a child age. Maybe I could go to school for the last year. Probably won't have classes with (y/n), but maybe I'll see her in the halls? Nah. The idea is stupid.
I look up as I hear heavy footsteps come closer to me. I look up to see Chris running at me. I stand, worried about (y/n). "What happened? Where is she? What's wrong?" He smiles and laughs. "Chi convinced Emi to let her take all of us, including (y/n) to your house to "meet" Maou and you. For time being, she's allowing you guys to start over. But I still want to know what's going on. Tell me on the way back to your apartment."
I was hesitant, but he's one of (y/n)'s friends. He's helping us protect her. No matter how much I hate the idea, I know he's not a bad guy from that one day we hung out. "Ask emi. If she says yes. I'll tell you. Go back to (y/n). I'll meet you all at the apartment."
I ran back to the apartment. I never run. But, this is a chance to start over with (y/n). Emi said she won't know me now. But I want to be close when she does remember. I never got to tell her that I love her. That I liked her yea, but not how deeply emotions are. Even if we are starting over from strangers, we can become friends again. And maybe, this time, even more.
