Nightmares

(So I realized I have a few inconsistencies through out my story. Especially concerning family and house of the reader. I apologize for that, and I'll do my best to try and fix it. To fix it and get it out of the way, reader will live in an apartment on their own and their family doesn't live to far away. I'm so sorry! Please, enjoy the rest of my story.)

When you two finally calmed down you smile and kiss his cheek. You get up and hold out your hand to him. He reaches up and you pull him. You continue your walk home with fingers intertwined.

As you reach your house you sigh and walk up to the door. You turn around to wave good bye and Urushihara is standing on the side walk waiting for you to be safe inside. You smile and run back to him and hug him. "Thank you luci." You burry your face in his shoulder as his arms wrap around your waist.

"For what?" He looks down at you as look up at him smiling. "Being here. I'm sorry you had to leave ente esla but happy I got to meet you. I'm thankful for our friendship!" He holds you closer and rests his head on top of yours. You giggle a little bit as you cuddle closer.

"I have to go now." You lower your arms but he holds you tighter. You hear him mumble something into your hair then he lets you go. He smiles and walks down the street back to his house. You turn confused as you enter your apartment. You turn on the lights and close the door behind you. You lock the door and walk to your room. You change out of your clothes and into some fuzzy pj pants and a tank top, along with an oversized hoodie. 

You crawl onto your bed and under the warm blankets. You take a deep breath and close your eyes. Tomorrow was school. Tomorrow you could see your school friends again. Now Chris and Chi are in on the secret of the mysterious men. You giggle to yourself at that thought. You hug another pillow. For some reason, it feels empty in your room now.

Your room was always your safe haven away from problems. Filled with everything you like. From clothes to nick knacks, and from electronics to fluffy pillows. You always felt safe here.

For some reason, in here tonight, you felt watched. Like something would attack if you moved. Suddenly, waking you up from your thoughts, you lap top screen started to glow and it went ding fro a notification. You roll over to look at it, starting to wish you could just sleep.

Little girl still flirting with the devil. One day it'll get you in trouble.

You close your lap top and you know you won't be able to sleep now. Some one knows their secret. Not just their secret, they know that you know. They know your crush. They know your email address. They know who Luci is, and they know who you are.

You pull the blanket over your head, and call Chi. She doesn't pick up because she's already asleep. When you look at your phone for what time it is you get another message.

Scared? Calling for help? Not real smart princess.

The number it was sent from. There wasn't a number there. It was blank. You threw your phone across the room. You don't know what to do. They are monitoring you now? How. You even hid under the blankets. You curl into a ball and close your eyes.

~Lucifer's pov~

I walked back to the apartment. She doesn't realize how close I was to breaking down. Now that she's back, and I can hold her in my arms again, I don't want to lose her ever.

As I make my way up the stairs I see the lights still on in the apartment. You open the door and Maou is smirking at me. I roll my eyes "what?"

He holds up a sheet of paper. As I look at it, I realize what it is and my eyes widen. "No, Maou, I said no."

"And I don't care, we gotta keep her safe don't we?" He set down the papers. The congratulations papers. The horrid papers. The papers that make me go to school. Maou stood up and handed me a school uniform. "That is yours now. It is up to you to protect Chi and (y/n) throughout the day." I sigh and lay down in my boxes.

"Fine. I'm not gonna like it though." I grab my pasta system and close my eyes. Stupid school. Stupid Maou. Stupid outdoors.... at least I will see (y/n). I mean, I see her everyday anyways, but now, for longer in the day. Maybe, I can do. Maybe I could actually tell I like her soon. Maybe she still likes me too. That was before her memories got swiped. The fun times may have come back, that doesn't mean the emotions did too.

I close my eyes and wait for sleep to take me away.
