6. Rip Your Head Out Your Ass

"Thanks, Danny boy." Phil smiled as I put the pancakes on the table in front of him. "My favourite!"
"Exactly!" I replied cheerfully. We both sat there smiling at eachother for a minute while eating pancakes, when my phone started to ring. "Excuse me a second." I said as I left the room and took my phone out of my pocket. When I saw the number, I immediately stopped. Then I ran into my bedroom and shut the door all the way. What did she want?
"What do you want, Danielle." I snapped into the microphone.
"I want you to come to my houseparty. Everyone's going, and so are you." She replied with extreme attitude.
"No I'm not. Why can't you get it through to your tiny brain? We're. Over. I repeat. We're. OVER."
"Ugh. Ever since you've been hanging out with that nerdy f*ckboy, you've been weird. You don't want to hang out with us anymore. What's going on?"
"What's going on is that I hate you now, and I don't see how in the world I ever went out with you. I have someone else, and by the way, his name is PHIL. I'm not coming to your party and that's the end of it."
"Daniel, you're coming to this party, WITHOUT f*ckboy Phil, and if you don't, I'll get Tom to rip your head out your ass. And don't even laugh."
"YOU'RE A RIGHT SL*T, YOU KNOW THAT?!" I yelled before I hung up.

I leant against the wall behind me and slid down it till I was sitting on the floor. I didn't know what to do. I loved Phil and of course I didn't want to go to some stupid-ass party with some stupid-ass preps without him. But getting 'my head ripped out of my ass' by Tom didn't seem too appealing. I was really scared, so I started sobbing on the floor until Phil came up, sat next to me and asked what was wrong. I said I was just crying because I was thinking about my deceased Grandma. I felt really bad about lying to Phil. He was only trying to help.
