Phil's POV
I lunged my hand forward, about to push this random girl off me. (Random girl = emperorpenguinlover) But just as I was about to do it, the door clicked and both me and the girl froze. Oh no, I panicked. Please, Dan, no.

It was Dan. He stumbled in as quick as he could, obviously drunk, then he kicked the door behind him, attempting to close it, but it didn't fully close. Then, he slowly and drunkly (sorry, I didn't know what other word to use!) lifted up his head to observe his surroundings, then he froze too. I felt the alcohol slowly drain out of his body, as did the colour. He looked sober as ever as we made eye contact for a moment.

When I looked deep in his eyes, he looked like he was going to cry. Then suddenly, he bolted out the door and out of sight. I had no choice but to run after him.

As I did so, I shoved the girl with all my strength and leapt off the couch. I had never ran no fast in my life, but then again, I  never ran anyway.

When I got out the door, Dan was already quite far way, but I managed to catch up with him and grab his upper arm. "Dan...I...I'm sor-" I stuttered. Dan cut me off and said firmly, "Shut up." And tried to run away again, but I held onto his arm tightly and I wasn't going to weaken my grip until I had fully apologized.
"I...she-" I continued, unsure of what to say.
"SHUT UP!" Dan interrupted again, then snatched back his pale arm and raced back up the road. I stood there, not knowing what to do, so I just called for him again. "Dan!" I yelled.

I had never felt so horrible and guilty in my life. I had no-where to go. What would I do without Dan?
