Time To Go

As the performance concluded, everyone got up, and headed toward the exit. Everyone was talking, but he realized Gary was a bit quiet. "Wasn't that amazing" Ash said trying to start conversation. "Yea..." Gary said "and up close she is kinda hot..." Ash wanted to slap his friend. How was HE talking like that about ash's friend. But then he realized, Gary didn't know he was friends with Serena, and was probably just joking. "Ha ha" Ash said sarcastically.
Ash and Gary had a couple hours before the after party, and spent most of it getting ready. Gary continued to talk about his chances of dating the kalos queen and ash just laughed. He knew Gary had no chance. Only one person had a chance with Serena, and not even ash knew. Through the time he spent with her, he learned one thing, Serena had a crush on someone. She would never tell anyone of course, and always blush when you bring it up, but never tell.
     "So do you like the queen ashy boy?" Gary teased. "Wha.. well I mean I'm sure she's nice..." Ash said turning the slightest bit red "but not in 'that' way". "You mean you wouldn't even try?" Gary asked "it's every mans dream to be with the kalos queen"
     Ash laughed. Little did Gary know, he was with the kalos queen. For a long time. He actually got to know her, and it was great. "Well if you put it that way" Ash leaned toward Gary "I would have to get to know her first"
     "You must be a bore at parties" Gary said to his friend "speaking of parties" he looked at his watch "it's time to go!"
     Ash and Gary got their stuff together, and ash woke up pikachu. "Time to go buddy" he said. And they were off.
