                               Ash Ketchum sat in the cheering crowd. Up on the expansive stage was Serena, his friend, but also, in his eyes, the next kalos queen. The votes were coming in from the committee, as the showman talked to people behind the scenes. Then he stood up. "Your new kalos queen is..." the crowd was on edge in excitement...
                          "Serena Yvonne!"

                               After his journey in kalos, ash decided to return to his home town. He assumed he would, like many of the others he had befriended, never see her again. He was wrong.
