Ash and Gary were walking through the hotel area. The party was to be held in the second ballroom. From the little that was ever revealed about it, Gary was ecstatic. "I wonder what awesome food they will have!?" Gary said. "Mmmmmmmm, food" ash replied with a big smile.
As they walked down the hallway leading to the room they had marked on their maps as "party room", Ash began to have second thoughts. 'What do I do when I see her' he thinks, 'and even worse, what if she doesn't see me?'
These worries were pushed into the back of his mind as they finally arrived. Outside two big security guards stood. "Are you on the list?" One of then said.
"Yea. Ash and Gary" gary replied with a smile. "Alright, we need to see ID"
They showed the men their trainer badges and walked in. "And your Pokémon has to stay with you at all times" the man said just before they were inside. "Alright" ash said. Internally ash breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness the security didn't recognize pikachu as the Pokémon he had snuck into the show before.
"Here we are!" Gary spun around, surveying the large area. "There is the food!" He then turned off and walked towards the large buffet table. "Wait for me" Ash said walking after him.
Gary looked up and down the table with his friend. He picked out a yummy looking strawberry tart, and ate it in a few swift bites. Ash on the other hand located the macaroons, popping one into his mouth. It tasted just like he remembered. Just like Serena always made them.
Through the party Ash and Gary stuck together, meeting some people, mostly ones who knew professor oak, and therefore Gary. A loud squeak rang through the hall, as someone could now be seen on the dance floor with a microphone.
"Thank you all for coming" the voice said "as the official organizer for kalos contests world wide, I would like to formally welcome you to this wonderful occasion. You all really are lucky to be here. Each and every queen gets to pick where they end their tour. Most choose their home towns back in kalos, but Serena chose here. At first I wasn't sure why, but now seeing this beautiful area, I understand. Now, of course you've seen enough of me, so please, enjoy the amazing food, drink, and maybe meet someone new. Thank you".
