You both are 27 years old in this one shot, you two have been married for 7 years and have been dating since your second year in high school.

You were feeling a bit tired today, but nonetheless, still decided to go on a date for the whole day that your husband, Sugawara Kōshi, the ex-vice captain of the Karasuno Volleyball Team, decided to plan. You always enjoyed watching him practice and also his official matches, always supporting the entire team. You have been there for him since he was a first year on the team, and you couldn't just stop leave him.

"(Name)-san! Sweetie, you look a bit tired, are you sure you want to exhaust yourself?" your husband worriedly asked, gently taking your hand in his; your small hand was the perfect size against his larger one, making you smile. You looked up to get a good look to your husband's face; his eyes showed hints of concern and his lips were in a small frown, which did not look good on Kōshi's beautiful face.

"I'm fine, I promise." you simply said, smiling so brightly that made Kōshi smile as well, intertwining his fingers with yours. As you two walked, you laid your head on his slender shoulder; slowing down the pace you two were walking. He turned to look at you; sadly smiling at how tired your eyes were but were still trying to be bright as they were.

Sugawara didn't like seeing how tired you looked, but what else could he do?

He just tried to make you smile as much as possible; that's why you kept on loving him, and you never stopped.

Recently, you and Kōshi have been spending so much time more, which you enjoyed. You loved spending time with your faithful husband, but you were tired again. This time, it was a bit more noticeable but Sugawara ignored how dull your eyes were beginning to look; but instead noticed how merry your laughs and little giggles echoed throughout the quiet apartment that just had you two in there, the ones he was able to make come out from your mouth.

"(Name)-san, are you sure you don't want to take it easy today?" Sugawara smiled at you, his eyes filled with love. You slightly pouted, "Kōshi-kun, you're being way too cautious! I'm not an old lady! I still have enough energy to go out and have some fun with you!"

"(Name)-san, you're looking tired..." Sugawara trailed off, rubbing his soft hands on the back of his neck. You hugged him from the front, laying your head on his chest, only saying, "Let's go take a walk to the park." "Of course, darling, anything for you" You tied your dull hair into a thin ponytail, placing a hat on your head and walking out the door, following Sugawara.

As you two walked towards the park, you noticed a teen couple sitting on the bench, each looked flustered. You lightly giggled, "Ne, Kōshi-kun, look at that couple. Doesn't that remind you of someone?" "They remind me of how we were on our first date," Sugawara said, giggling at the couple. You two stayed until night; only talking about how happy you two are and how much things have changed, you couldn't ask for more but you did wish that they were there as well. But you knew they were somewhere safe at the moment.

It has been 3 months, and you laid in a bed; a slightly uncomfortable bed but Sugawara was still with you, holding your hand as you slept peacefully. He smiled sadly, gripping your hand tightly. He rested his head on your arm, tired, as he drifted off to sleep.

"(Name)-san, are you okay? Why are you crying?" Sugawara brought you into a soft hug, making you cry more. You whispered the words, " Kōshi-kun... I am... I'm dying... the doctors think I have half a year left...", the words that broke Sugawara world, making him cry along with you, tightly gripping onto your body.
