You couldn't help it, you fell for the bubbly orange head. It wasn't supposed to be this way, you weren't denying the feelings you held for Hinata but you just didn't want to ruin the beautiful friendship you two shared.

Lately, you've been finding yourself always wanting to be with Hinata. Whenever you aced your test or got praised by a student, you always wanted to rush to Hinata and tell him about it.

You weren't doing that to brag to him because you felt like doing so. You did that because you wanted to share your happiness with him. At first, you didn't think it was a big deal but Kageyama once asked you why you kept on bragging to him.

"I'm not bragging! I just want to share my happiness and be happy with Hinata-kun!" was your reply.

You didn't realize the words that came out of your mouth; once the words registered in your mind, you widened your eyes and became flustered over the sentence.

"Th-that's not w-what I meant!"

I keep on fronting, yeah I stay bluffing

"I d-don't l-like Hinata that way!" you lied to Kageyama and Tsukishima once more, cheeks flaring up from the embarrassment. Ever since that sentence escaped your mouth, the two of them have been trying to know what you truly feel for Hinata.

"Yeah and Kageyama hates milk," Tsukishima retorted, rolling his eyes making Kageyama confused for a bit, "Why don't you just admit it that you like shrimpy over there?" He pointed to the overly excited first year who was shouting at Nishinoya.

You smiled at Hinata, even though his back was facing you. It was nice seeing him being his usual self.

You lowered your head, you never thought that when you would finally admit your feelings that it would be to a sarcastic beanpole and a milk addict.

"Because... I'm scared."

You didn't tell both of them the rest... you were scared because Hinata knew you inside out. He knew how to make you happy, sad, angry, embarrassed. Hinata makes you feel vulnerable about your emotions.

At this point, you finally accepted your feelings for Hinata. Whenever someone asked you who was your crush, you admitted it was Hinata but he was too oblivious to notice you have feelings towards him.

It was quite nerve-wracking; although you admitted it publicly that you liked Hinata, you didn't dare to tell him straightforward.

You accepted the fact that he was basically out of the friend zone but you were in the friend zone to Hinata. You weren't so worried yet, you still had a flourishing friendship with Hinata that kept on increasing each day that past.

It has been a couple of weeks that you finally admitted you liking Hinata to the school and the volleyball team, you still couldn't believe how he could still be oblivious.

"(Name)-chan! Please! Don't eat my Gari Gari!" Hinata pouted, trying to take back his popsicle which was in your hand about to be eaten. You were shorter than Hinata but he couldn't take away his popsicle from you.
