"(Name)-chan, I got your confession letter on my desk," Kaoru started, making heat rush to your cheeks, "I had a crush on you for a while now too and I'm glad you confessed. Let's go on a date?" You looked up to see him, cheeks tinted pink as you nodded while smiling, causing him to smile as well. Kaoru gently took your left hand and placed a kiss upon it, making your eyes widen at the sudden gesture. You giggled at the contact and then walked away from him, but not before waving goodbye to him. 

He waved back, but not before signing. He wanted to know if you actually like him or his twin Hikaru.

After your date happened, he asked you out on another one, then another one and soon it became daily. It has been three months since he first asked you out on a date and each date made you happier than the last. Kaoru was always so happy to see you during the dates, never wanting to let go of your hand and giving you pecks on the cheeks. 

But there were times where his smile did look force and he would avoid holding your hand throughout the entire date which made you a bit hurt. Kaoru suggested to take you to the beach which made you excited but anxious as to what you would wear. As always, it was last minute planning which made you rush around your entire house. 

You eventually chose a black two piece swimsuit; your hair was in loose beach curls and had a light tan hat covering your head and wore black sandals that hugged your ankles so it wouldn't fall easily to finish off the look. The bikini showed off the right amount you wanted to show off without making you feel insecure at all. Kaoru came to pick you up just as you were putting your sandals on, making you hurry a bit 

"You look lovely, (Name)-chan," Kaoru said, gently kissing your cheek as he took your hand, guiding you to the limousine. 

And he's long gone when he's next to me

As you arrived at the beach, he let go of your hand, making you frown a bit before smiling. You set your things down, taking out a blanket before turning to turn to look at Kaoru who was just wearing black swimming trunks. You blushed at the sight, turning away from him, walking towards the water. Kaoru followed you, hugging you from behind, startling you a bit before you realized it was him. You turned around to face him, smiling brightly before saying, "It's been 4 months since you asked me out on our first date, Kaoru."

Kaoru smiled at you, taking your hands into yours. But something didn't feel right. 

His smiled seemed forced, it never reached his eyes. Kaoru's eyes seemed a bit disappointed and his grip on your hands was a bit too tight which made you wince a bit. You noticed, "Is something the matter, Kaoru?" He didn't say anything but instead kissed you right on the lips. 

You widened your eyes, he never kissed you on the lips. You were a bit shocked at the sudden contact you didn't kiss back before he pulled away. You were blushing, embarrassed that Kaoru had kissed you, for the first time. You saw a group of boys from your school walking towards you two, not noticing you and Kaoru there for a moment. You turned back to look at him, noticing that his eyes had changed.
