Danielle's P.O.V

Sometimes, I always wonder what it would be like to remember things. I mean, I'm not like Dory who forgets everything but with some things, they sort of slip out of my head and never return. I am only reminded of it if someone brings it up though and right now, I sort of wished this had left my head forever and never came back, even if someone told me, I would want to still forget it but with my bad luck, my head just can't do that.

You see, when I woke up this morning, I never thought Cole would be standing over me with a grin. Now, me being me, I sort of did punch him in the cheek but he didn't cry so that's good for his pride but the slight bruise on his face did sort of make me laugh.

Anyway, when Cole was standing over me, watching me like the creep his is, I never thought he would just do that to remind of the bet we made a few days ago.

In case you forgot, let me recall your memory. Remember when Cole and I were down in the kitchen the night we planned our revenge plans out? Do you remember the conversation after Cole had told me what he did to his mom? Well, let me put it like this.

"Sneaky but thoughtful. It's good you are looking out for your mom. It's a shame you can't treat all the other girls you sleep with the same too." I smirk and Cole shakes his head, a small grin on his face.

"Back with the jealousy." Cole says and I roll my eyes.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I am not jealous?" I ask and Cole smirks.

"Don't need to tell me, just show me." Cole says and raise my eyebrow at him.

"How?" I ask and Cole smiles at me.

"Grab a guy by the end of the week and at least go on one date with him. If you bail, your jealous. If you succeed, your not. Simple."

Since I am practically so stupid when it comes to these things, I pushed myself into the bet. I shouldn't of said 'how'. I should've kicked him and tackle him to the ground, punching him repeatedly but once again, I am just bad with this type of stuff.

So, as I was saying, when Cole reminded me of the bet, I didn't know what to do; scream in frustration or punch him in anger. I know that just sounded really confusing but stay with me, here. Anyway, do you know what I did though? I slapped him after I punched him. Violent? Yes, I know.

"So now I have to find a guy that is willing to go on a date with me before tomorrow night otherwise I lose the bet." I explain to Maya and she let's out a laugh.

"I would help you out but you know, I'm not a guy." Maya says and I roll my eyes.

"If only." I reply and all of a sudden, Maya turns to me with a grin. I frown in confusion and she suddenly grabs my shoulders, shaking me violently.

"You can go on the date with Joshua and after that, you two can be friends again." Maya says and I grab her hands and pull them off my shoulders.

"No thanks." I say and Maya frowns.

"Why? Just forget about what happened last year and move on. I mean, he already has..." Maya trails off and I send her a short glare.

"Shut up before I do it myself." I snap and Maya rolls her eyes and grabs her books out of her locker.

"So, have you found a boy yet?" Cole asks, walking up to me with a small grin. I roll my eyes and continue to write the stupid assignment that Cole and I are supposed to do togther but I guess I am doing it by myself

"No." I reply, not bothering to look up and Cole takes a seat in front of me and snatches my book out of my hand.

"Just go up to a random." Cole says and I glare at him.

"You know what? You do this while I go 'get a boy'." I say, shoving all my equipment towards him and stand up. Cole gives me a grin as he watches me walk around the library.

With the face I'm pulling and the currently speed I'm walking, people will probably think I'm going to hit a bitch but actually, I am going to ask someone out on a date.

Surprisingly, Josh just happens to be in the library reading a book. I quickly decide if I should just suck up my pride and begin to have an easy conversation with him but then again, I still haven't heard him say sorry.

I let out a frustration sigh before walking over to Josh. I take a seat next to him and he looks at me with confusion. "Danielle? What are you doing?" Josh frowns and I let out a sigh.

"I need you to help me out with something. I know we aren't on good terms but I need to do this if I want to win a bet." I explain and Josh nods slowly.

"Well, your are really competitive so I understand why you don't want to lose a bet but why me?" Josh asks, his eyebrows furrowing and I shrug.

"Your the only person I know that isn't uncomfortable around me." I say and Josh nods.

"Yeah well, I have known you for a long time. Look, Danielle, I want to apologize for the way I acted that night. It was stupid of me." Josh says and I let out a sigh.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting to hear that. Thank you, Josh." I say with a small smile and he shrugs.

"It's the least I could do. Now, what do you need help with?" Josh asks and I run a hand through my hair.

"I need you to go on a date with me to prove an idiot that I am not jealous of him." I say and Josh's eyes widen.

"Really?" He asks and I nod.

"It will only be one. I just... oh who am I kidding? Maybe it won't hurt to lose one bet-"

"Danielle, I'll go on the date with you." Josh cuts me off and a grin appears on my lips.

"Really? I knew I could count on you." I say and Josh shrugs.

"I am very reliable."

"Okay, well, I'll text you tonight." I say and Josh nods as I stand up, walking back over to Cole.

"Done." I say with a smirk, sitting back down in my seat and Cole grins.

"Good job. Who is the unlucky guy?" Cole asks and I hold myself back from hitting him.

"Joshua Simpson." I say with a grin and it would be lying if I said I didn't notice Cole's face drop with sadness.
