Danielle's P.O.V

"Jesus, can you please slow down? I wasn't planning on dying today!" Cole explains, his hands gripping at the handle above him. I ignore him and continue to drive down the road, running through the red lights.

I notice the bright lights from the bar and I quickly turn into the parking lot and stop the car. I don't bother to park the car properly as I really won't be here for long. I'm just going to drag Joshua's dead body out of the bar, throw him in the trunk and drive off to the river to dump his lifeless body there.

I get out of the car and Cole does the same, quickly following behind me. I walk into the bar and look around for the person who killed my father. A few people begin to look at me and I send them a cold glare, making them slowly turn back around to look at their drinks in front of them.

I look around again and stop at the rail where there is a small dance floor below it. I scan the dance floor slowly, making sure that if I don't see Joshua, I don't see him at all and that he doesn't just appear out of no where after I have already looked.

"He isn't here..." Cole says beside me and I shake my head.

"No, he has to be here." I say, beginning to walk down the stairs that lead down to the dance floor. I continue to glare at the people staring at Cole and I and glance around, waiting for Joshua's head to pop up.

You can run but you can't hide, Joshua.

After looking around the bar for twenty minutes, Cole told me for the tenth time that Joshua wasn't here so now we are sitting in the car, the silence getting the better of us. Cole is currently looking out the window while I am biting my nails, watching the bar doors to see if Joshua will walk out, even though Cole keeps telling me that he isn't in there.

"Your not as angry as I thought you would be." I comment, still looking at the bar door. My tone doesn't show any emotion and I don't want it to. When it comes to these types of situations, situations that involve my father or my family in general, I become weak and I hate that.

I have to stay strong and not show any signs of weakness.

"I am just bottling it up, Danielle." Cole says and I turn to him, my eyebrow raising. Cole looks over at me and sighs.

"What?" Cole asks, his tone tired.

"What do you mean 'what'? You can't bottle up something like this. Joshua broke apart both of our fucking families and you're sitting there saying that your 'bottling it up'?" I snap, my eyes looking deep into Cole's.

"Danielle-"

"No, shut up for a second." I say, grabbing my keys and starting the car. Cole frowns and furrows his eyebrows.

"What are you doing?" Cole asks and I press my foot on the accelerator. I drive out of the parking lot and begin to drive in the direction that leads to the only place I can think of that Joshua might actually be.

"Going to find that son of a bitch. And when I do, you won't need to bottle anything up anymore."

I drive up the hill and immediately stop when I find a spot where the trees hide the car perfectly. I mean, it may be like three o'clock in the afternoon but the car is a dark colour and so are the trees.
