Chapter Fifteen

Danielle's P.O.V

Maya throws me a grin as she looks between Cole and I. "Don't tell me you both came late because you decide to have sex in the car..." Maya says and my eyes widen in shock while Cole rolls his eyes.

"Never in my life." Cole mutters and this time, I roll my eyes. Cole continues to walk down the hallway when I stop in front of Maya and I glare at the back of Cole before turning my attention back to my best friend.

"Care to tell me why you are late?" Maya asks and I let out a sigh, running my hand through my hair.

"Long story short, Cole decided to put a fake spider next to my head which caused me to scream and fall off my bed. When I kicked Cole where the sun doesn't shine, he rolled around on the floor for half an hour while I was waiting for him to get ready because my mom told me that I can't leave without Cole this morning otherwise I will be grounded." I explain and Maya let's out a laugh.

"Oh damn, did he record it?" Maya asks and I scoff, stomping on Maya's foot to shut her up. Maya groans and jumps around the hallway with her foot in her hands.

"I'm not in the mood, Maya."

The bell rings, signalling the end of lunch and Maya and I stand up, throwing our rubbish in the bin. Since Maya and I don't have the next class together, we part ways and I walk down the hallway.

"Hey, Danielle!" I hear someone call and I turn around to see Joshua running towards me. I send him a smile and enter the classroom, glancing around and letting my eyes adjust to the blonde that is in my seat.

"Rachel, get out of my seat." I say and Rachel looks up at me with a small grin.

"I don't see your name on it." Rachel says and I grit my teeth in annoyance. I slam my hand on the desk and send Rachel a glare.

"It will have my name in your blood if you don't get the fuck up." I snap and Rachel rolls her eyes and stands up, making her way over to the other side of the classroom. I shake my head in disgust as I take my seat. Joshua grins at me and raises his eyebrow.

"Well, that was interesting." Joshua says and I shrug. Joshua takes the seat next to me but before he can sit down, Cole appears out of nowhere and grabs his shirt, pulling him out of the seat.

"Thats my seat, buddy." Cole says and I narrow my eyes at Cole as he looks into Joshua's eyes with no emotion at all - well, except for anger of course.

"Cole-" Joshua begins but Cole just pushes him out of the way and sits in the seat that Joshua was going to sit in. I send Joshua an apologetic look as he looks for another seat and I glare at Cole.

"I think you are jealous." I say and Cole shakes his head, pulling out his phone.

"Not even close, darling." Cole says and I snatch his phone out of his hand and hold it up in the air.

"Do you always have to be such an ass?" I snap and Cole rolls his eyes and stands up, taking the phone from my hand and sitting back in his seat.

"Calm down, will you?" Cole says, looking back at his phone and my eyes widen in disbelief.

"Calm down? Calm down? Are you insane?" I ask and before Cole can say anything, the teacher calls my name.
