The Tour guide suddenly didn't look much older than us. It was as if a magic veil had been lifted away. We all mostly didn't talk because we were in shock. It seemed as if it was all a dream and yet we'd seen it with our very eyes. I still wanted to talk to this tour guide. As she walked she pushed her purplish dark black hair behind her ear. She had freckles along her cheeks. She had to be a freshman if not a bit younger. I walked side by side with Kiyara. She didn't look my way once and I planned on talking to her.
"So what do you think of all these things happening to us?," I asked her.
"It's really weird ya'know. Especially that creepy man in black with the shadows.I think you were really brave for saving ...me," she said.
"Yah. I guess a normal girl would've screamed but you didn't," I was very nervous and stopped talking right there.I didn't really talk to her much but I wanted to get know her. The tour guide led us to a large hole in a brick wall. There was rubble all over. We walked through a path with the cracks in the ceiling serving as our light. At the end of the path there was a metal, shiny door. The tour guide opened the door and we walked into a elevator like space. We all crammed into the small room and the guide whispered something. I didn't understand what it was that she said but she reopened the door and walked out. We were in a whole different place. The place was large ang high up near the ceiling there was a large ball of light that was like the sun for the whole place. Certain people lifted objects up in the air for their work.
"What is this place and where do I sign up?," Ashley excitedly said while looking around. The young tour guide just kept walking silently. I followed in awe of the whole place. It was like this wierd society. Donny kept smiling the whole entire time. He talked with Ashley while we walked and I listened.
"... so what if we have these cool superpowers like that guy in black. It'd be so cool and nobody'd ever mess with me again." The tour guide poked up her ears and began.
"We will NEVER use our powers for evil do you understand !?," we all nodded our heads immediateley. The girls cut short, hair and black eyes made her look older and scarier. I'd definitely never get her mad. And with her powers that I had yet to know about would make me immediately in danger if I ever crossed her."We are the protectors of the world. We are called The W Society. The W stands for Witch or Wizard." Us four listened intently to every single word she said, amazed by every detail. Thee word Wizard flashed in my mind. Did this mean we were wizards? I had so many questions to ask but not enough time to ask them."See, our society keeps it peaceful and creates order. As witches and wizards become older their magic abilities will grow. That probably explains why you weren't affected by the man in black's Shadow Fear ability. I am taking you to the leader of our society." She opened two large double doors."This is Samuel Greyback,Leader of the W Society." I froze in midstep. Sitting there was my father, at a desk.
"Hello Talia. Pleased to see you. Thank you for bringing in my son and his friend," he said. I ws still looking in total shock. Finally, I spoke up
" D-dad? You lead this society?," I managed.
" Well yes. I have to on account that I'm the most powerful person in this building. I have many things to tell you." He smiled, something I hadn't seen in a long time."Sorry I haven't been around but my job demands it."
Donny spoke up,"Woah Mr. Greyback, this something I hadn't seen coming. So you're like boss man around this place, like head wizard?" My dad nodded. "Cool but one question, what's up with this magic stuff anyway?" Donny asked a question that I knew was floating over all of our minds.
"Yes Mr. Greyback, what's going on with the man with the shadow powers and the screaming?," Ashley continued.
"Well actually, the man who attached you was no more than a lackey sent by an evil organization. This organization sends hunters to capture witches and wizards for their power or to use as another minion. All witches and wizards have certain elemental abilities and this man's ability was obviously shadows. However, there are certain types of wizards. For instance, there are magicians who can read and manipulate minds and magicians who can change shapes. But all wizards or whitches can always learn the basic spells or advanced ones. Talia here can change her shape or the shape or the shape of anything or anyone. You, Zach can create things or worlds just from writing it down. As you practice you'll eventually learn how to do this by just thinking. I on the other hand, know what thing or what move somebody is about to do before they do it and I can attach myself onto people so I know what happens to them.
"All interesting wouldn't you think? Kiyara, I know that you can control gravity and force." I looked at Kiyara. She can do that?Cool,I thought."But there's something special about you four. You all can copy any ability you see so that you can do them too. You're part of The Prophecy Of Five. In this prophecy you will all save the world from a terrible threat." I couldn't believe my ears. If this was true then the world depended on five fourteen year olds.
"Wait. Five? Who's the fifth?," Kiyara asked.
"We do not know yet Ms. Green. But the prophecy will happen in two years and you'll have plenty of time by then," my dad replied. This all sunk in and I couldn't take it.
"Are you freakin' serious! We've only got two stupid years to learn how to control our powers and you tell us now! What the heck!," I shouted. All of a sudden I felt tired. What's happening? I-I'm falling-. I fell on the hard floor and was completely knocked out. I dreamt of a kid running from some sort of demon. The demon was dark red and had horns the size of a foot ruler. It had yellow eyes and didn't have any pupils. It had a large, square head and had scrawny legs. It's pants were ripped up to over its knees. It chased after the boy and turned the corner after him. The kid had straight, black, short hair with a blue tint. He had pail skin and freckles on his cheeks. He wore short khakis and a blue collared shirt. He had to be in fifth or sixth grade and was scrawny with skinny arms and legs. The boy was crying and was scared out of his wits.
He was screaming", save me! Somebody help me!" But noone else seemed to notice the monster. It was as if only the boy could see him. Finally the boy turned around in a rage and was suddenly covered in flames. The boy put his hands up and shot a blast fire.
