I slept in Kiyara's hospital room on my usual chair. She was sleeping and as quickly as she was recovering, she'd be out of the hospital by the next day. By the next day we would also be searching for the fifth person of the prophecy. Talia had told us that that fifth person would be being hunted by monsters all over the place. With that on my mind I had a strange dream about the boy with the freckles again. He was sleeping in an alley. He was crying while he slept. Two black figure were watching him from the two buildings above. They were studying him, it seemed. I got a close up view of them and they appeared to be monsters. The one perched on the building in front of the sleeping boy had a big figure. It was wearing a white mask and its body was made of what looked like dark purple dreads. No, they were snakes. The other was skinnier but still muscular and its body was made of snakes also. Though they were the regular green kind. He had a black mask on.
'No, leave that boy alone!," I pleaded in my head. As they were ready to strike I thought ', I wish I could protect him.' And suddenly, I was there, behind the black masked one. It took me a few seconds to get out of my shock. My wish had been granted and that was all I needed to know. I prepared to use a move I developed in the training in the jungle. I clenched onto my right hand with the left. A big ball appeared. I placed it on the building's floor, clenched my fist and It traveled over to to the monster. When it arrived I released my hand and the monster blew up in shadows like ink splattering everywhere. I jumped over to the white mask and kicked it. When I had kicked it a shadow engulfed my foot and as I was moving it had remainders of the shadows appear and disappear a few seconds later. Anyway, the kick was powerful and it sent the white mask flying to the other side of the building. As the smoke from when he skid disappeared, he was gone. And instead he was behind me, like arms length. I quickly summoned a ball of shadows and spikes appeared around it as I wished. I turned around and forced it into him. SKKKSSSSHHHH!
He flew to the other building and black blood gushed out of its stomach. White mask picked snakes out of where his chest should have been. He threw the at me and I was about to dodge but they blew up. Purple snake bombs blew up everywhere. I was forced to the ground where the boy was now awake. I coughed up blood. Patches of blood were on my arm. I miraculously climbed up the side of the building as shadows appeared under my hands to help and under my feet also.
When I was up onto the building that the monster stood on I clapped ", Good play, Good play. But can you take this?" I ran to him. I put my hands together and shot out a black beam. SSSHHHZZZZZZ! Boom! He was gone. It was raining snakes too so I jumped down to the boy.
" Are you okay? Um I'm a uh-," I was disintegrating. " Who are you?," I asked.
He was at first hesitant to speak ", I'm- I'm Tyler F-Fields." I didn't know what was happening to me.
" Grab my hand!," I commanded. He tried and failed."
" I-I can't!," He yelled.
I didn't know what else to do." Stay here. Well where exactly is here-" I was disappearing.
" S-Somewhere in Pacific city." That's all I heard before disappearing.
" Aah!," I was back in the hospital. Kiyara was sitting on my lap. Sleeping once again, but awoken by my scream.
