The Notebook of Zachariah Greyback

The Devicetacion

                 We landed in an alley in the city. There were silver dumpsters everywhere. I focused my magic into my feet and ran up the wall. I was on the roof in no time and saw the whole city. It was a very beautiful sight. It was breathtaking and stunning. I looked over the city with awe. Jessica followed me and with that Kiyara, Ashley, Donny, and the two other agents.

                          " I'll use my advanced sensory to target the fifth of the prophecy." He put his hands together as if he were praying. " Ultra Sight of Vision!"

                          His eyes were now black with white pupils. " I can see several monsters jumping from building to building. They are most likely hunting our target. But even if their not it's our job."

                       He jumped from building to building over the streets in a zigzag formation with us in tow. Suddenly, the five monsters stopped and turned to us. The monsters didn't look really different from other humans. They had blue, pale skin black eyes with white pupils that were larger than normal. They were pretty tall and had a unique sword on their backs. They had hair that ranged from black to a light blue. The man we followed landed on a cable wire that crossed to another pole. The tall monster that was about eight foot five spoke.

            " Hmmm... What do we have here. If it isn't Kairo or should I call you by your given name. Connor Marson." Kairo looked at him grudgingly.

                    " Kaine!," he shouted. I wondered how Kairo could have been connected to that monster. Kairo put his fists together and erupted in electricity. He disappeared in a thunder bolt and appeared behind the monster he called Kaine. " You'll pay for what you did to our family. The members of our family's magical branch. Why!? You son of a b-"  He didn't have time to curse because Kaine had hit him in the chest with fire bursting on his arm. He disappeared in a bolt of lightning after putting his fists together and appeared where he was originally.

                  " Tsk, tsk. What a disappointment. You're using our branch's ability poorly brother."

                           " Brother!?," I spatted out. Jessica glared at me and began to reason with Kairo.

                      " C'mon Kairo. This isn't our objective. Please, let's go. It began to rain and Kairo's black hair that hung to his cheeks glistened in the rain. His hair had a soft flow to it and he had dark hair.  Kaine was similar but with a spiky flow and darker hair.

                                    " How is that Kairo's brother. He's a monster,"  Ashley noted.

       Kairo answered himself. " He- he began using some forbidden magic. His heart began to become darker and darker. He used our branch of the W society's ability, Tenshi's Sight to use the darkness of his heart to his advantage. You see, our branch was founded by a man named Kami which is the Japanese word for deity or god if you will. Kami had the ability to sense attacks before they came and see meters away.  Later, he gave a slice of his power to the other eleven members of his branch at the time but he still had a more powerful version of the ability. He and one of the members married, making their kids' ability even stronger. Anyway, he later turned evil and due to his strongest ability among everyone else, he transformed into a monster. The monster was later known as Dervanclaw. Well since his descendants were even more powerful than him, they were capable of a stronger Dervanclaw. And me and Kaine come from his bloodline. We now call the ability Tenshi's Sight because Tenshi means Angel in Japanese. My brother developed the Shi no Tenshi Sight which means Angel of Death Sight."
