Chapter 5 : Seminary

All is well! All is well!" Phoenix was listening to this hymn as she was heading to Seminary . Though nervous she was filled with the spirit of the Holy Ghost that comforted her . She used to attend Seminary early Saturday mornings but here the kids attended it at 14h00 or 2 o'clock in the afternoon so as she was listening to this song calmness filled her body . She finally got to the Chapel which was a school at the time . She had never attended church at a school .which was understandable of course . Before she could even enter the gates , she got a call from an "unknown number . That generally meant her mother forgot to pay for her caller id "Hello , who is this ?"  Phoenix said to the caller which she didn't know  "Phoenix Isabelle Latu you still don't know you're father's number by heart . How could you " Phoenix was emotional at hearing who was at the end of the line "Daddy ! How are ? Why haven't you called me . Why did you take so much time to contact me . Daddy I can't bare it anymore I need to leave this place ."  " sweetie where are you ? Are you okay there ? " Her father was totally worried about his daughter , he had feared of calling her when she was with people . Because of her mother not wanting her to communicate with her father . " Dad text me your number so that I can call you later, it's my first day at Seminary and I'm at Ouma's by the way and yes I'm fine hhhm😦😧😧 " ... "boo boo are you really okay ? You can come stay with me in my apartment if you like , it has an extra bedroom just for , it put up all your stuff , well the stuff that belonged to me anyway . Sweetie just know wherever I may be , I love you , and I'm proud of my little latter day saint , have fun in Seminary , kisses to Ouma and yourself from me , call me please " ....  after hanging up Phoenix was thinking of what her Father had said , about being proud of her, mr Latu never pushed Phoenix as much as her mom did , Phoenix was just a normal teen around her father and not a working machine , that has to learn everyday , she and her father had the best times when her mother was on a business meeting of some sort , Phoenix's father was an architect , the best of his time , and when he worked he did it mostly at home , so he always had time for he's daughter , Phoenix was taught by her father how to cook and how to do house chores , not most teens love doing that but it has become a big help in her life , she can actually take care of herself .
Phoenix ,nervous like always , entered the door of the classroom where Seminary was held , she saw the teacher it was non other then Elder French and next to him  was his wife Sister French , she knew them very well , they live close to her old house in one of the estates in town . And she knew most of the kids there , some were in her school while  some interacted with her during mutuals , most of the new kids thought she was new to the whole Seminary thing until Sister French told them that she was already a member and didn't need any special treatment when it came to Seminary , "sorry I'm late sister French , I uh had to help some eh people , when coming here." Sister French didn't believe one word Zack O'brien was telling her "oh Zack ! What am i to do with you ! Sit next to Phoenix , maybe she'll be a good influence , oh ! Phoenix this is Zack O'brien , Zack this is Phoenix Latu "  , the lesson on te specific day involved partnerships so Zack and Phoenix had work together , they saw each other around school and mutual but never had the chance to talk to each other  until now
"I hope you paying attention buddy because I don't want to fail this class , I've never failed a class before " Phoenix was so anxious to say . " well there's a first time for everything ! ...Just kidding ! You should laugh a little you know  ! Don't be so serious , live ! I see around school you know , you're so tense ! Just relax would you ? "  this O'brien character was not what Phoenix had thought she would be faced to actually talk to .
"Next week us March right ? I need to set up my study timetable and fax to my mom . ASAP " .
"uh ! Yeah , WAIT ! PEOPLE DO THAT !  Wow "  Zack seem terrified that people set study timetables every month . After Seminary Zack and Phoenix walked home together and before Phoenix could get to her house , they exchanged details plus ! Zack decided on asking her to the dance and she actually said yes ! So that night they started chatting and chatting and chatting and chatting ! The next morning they were both late for church ! The had slept at 3h30 in the morning , when Sister French noticed that they were late , she just laughed and said "we were up all night !"
The two were inseparable that day , they literally were together almost everywhere well until the last hour of church of course , but after church they walked home together , in just a day Terrence's space was already filled .... on that Sunday Phoenix and Zack were discussing their outfits for the dance and both went to sleep early ... Phoenix was so anxious to wake up the day to see Zack and walk with him to school... so she went to bed imagining Zack but dreamt of Darrin , which was strange for her ! She was at The dance with Darrin instead of Zack ...
