Chapter 9: The decision !!!

So as we  might know , Phoenix had to choose between spending her weekend with Zack or Allen , adding to the fact that Zack didn't know that she had previous arrangements with Allen ! She did not sleep  just thinking about it ! So she had reached an agreement and she was about to cancel on one of them until she got  a texts from Zack  "baby ! Eish gotta cancel today I'm going out with mom ! She surprised me ! Sorry ! I will make it up to you ! I love you Peanut butter ! My number1 !

So Phoenix got the sense of relief she needed she was just so happy she didn't have to do that to Zack ,she was already dressed up and heading for the mall when she realised something a bit off about Ouma so she asked her and she said everything was okay , and that she shouldn't make her "friends" wait up ... so she headed out and catched a taxi , catching a taxi here in South Africa isn't the same as around the world , here they use hand signals . So now the problem was , she was used to private taxis picking her up .
She asked a few women how to catch a taxi and they politely showed her . She then got the taxi she wanted and went to the mall with ease .
When arriving there she saw her friends from st.Victoria having a girls day .... without her .... she didn't go by and ruin everything with sadness and sobbing .so she decided to call them "hey ! Danial ! Where are you guys !" 

"We're at the mall ! Would you please join us ! Stacey and I have to hear more about Terrence , baby you hardly talk to us these days ! What's going on ! " Phoenix had to leave and she didn't answer so she finally arrived at at Exclusove book shop and she noticed that there had been a sale on all the books she liked . Her mother knew she loved reading so on her fifteenth birthday she got her a credit card that only purchased books and food at various stores , Exclusove was one of them . So she bought three books and started readig them while she waited for her sort of new boyfriend to arrive  , she read three complete chapters in just 30min until she saw a boy she didn't notice watching her ... it was Allen ! So she stood up and joined him , Allen wasn't the typical bad boy or the slacker he really worked hard at accomplishing everything he had , Phoenix thought Allen would have a good influence on her , so that's why she accepted the proposal in the first place , "hey ! How long have you been sitting here ? "

"Long enough to know that you are really fast reader ! And a great chess player ! See ... I knew you before you knew me ... remember the hardest match you had and the first match you lost ? You lost to me ! "
"Wait ! You're Allen Dane Schultz ! Your the guy I lost to at nationals ! I thought I'd always remember your face ! How did I forget you ! " Phoenix was so perplexed she didn't know what to do .
The thing that just happened was so weird ,but the teens continued with the date only to find out they had so much in common , Allen looked like a nerd yes but he was really not that nerdy once you begin to know him better , "oh yeah ! I think the movie will be awesome , a stone heart that bleeds is my favourite book , imagine the movie ! Phoenix said only to find out that the movie she wanted to watch was sold out , only "lame" movies were left , she was devastated as to why she didn't use her go get em plan . It was solid and she would have had tickets . She was but decided to go to the arcade instead of watching the movie she so wanted to watch .... the date ended up being a blast , Allen and Phoenix had a connection like no other . They got along like they knew each other from like forever
And so a new spark had risen from the depths of two chess players getting to know each other . Truth being that Allen was a little obsessed, "I know I said we were gonna meet up with my friends and brother here but I guess they had other plans, or maybe I sent them to the wrong mall on purpose but who knows..." Allen said with a big grin on his face , of course that shook Phoenix a bit but she never uttered a word.
What was to happen next would change the course of Phoenix's whole existence
