The role play is going great amazing even then the one sure fire way to kill a role play occurs.... The owner of the Role play vanishes or abandons their own role play.  Now I understand totally if they are grounded or what not. But to leave and never come back.

Your Rp then dies cause the maker is gone. And here is why owner involvement is important.

1: you have no one to accept new players or oc's , unless you were able to set up a administrator or 2.

2; You have no one to enforce the rules thus your rp is more prone to experience op, god mod, ect..  This will chase regular players away eventually .

3: If it is a story based Rp then the story can't go on. you froze your entire rp in chapter 3.5 or whatever.

Now if your a owner and can't be on a lot your best to get a additional administrator if you don't want to return to a dead rp.  Or one in total chaos.

Now Dramoinehead  and

Quirkier   and -Copy-Kitty- are awesome about ensuring that if they can't be on they have a back up administrator for there role plays if they can't be on to enforce the rules.  And all their back ups are really awesome about enforcing the rules.
