                                              In between these times,
These words run through my mind,
I don't know why I lie,
With an unconvincing smile.
                          The tears, they beg to cry,
And I really don't know why,
I can't just let them dive,
From my eyes into my life.
                          My feelings are trying to drive,
My sanity starts to writhe,
The dark inside me thrives,
Yet I still don't want to die.

                          I isolate, I try to hide,
But I can't get away from my own mind,
I try, I try, I try, I tried,
And I still can't stand their echoing lies.
