Chapter 5

       Christina P.O.V

       I flopped down on the couch and looked over at Dick.

       "I'm just saying," I told him. "I've been on patrols, but I haven't been allowed to do any of the really interesting stuff. It's so annoying!"

       He chuckled. "You've been here a week, Christina. Tim was here a month before he did anything other than patrols. You have to give him time."

       "Ugh," I threw an arm over my eyes. "Tim was like 13 when he got here. I'm way older than him, and I've been fighting my whole life. He doesn't even have to train me like he did with you guys!"

       He poked my arm, and I looked at him. "Come on," he said. "Let's go spy on Tim and his girlfriend. He finally got permission from Bruce to tell her about being Robin."

       This got me somewhat interested. I took his offered hand and stood.

       "Tim has a girlfriend?" I asked. "He didn't tell me about her."

       Dick dragged me through the halls. "He doesn't publicize it, but they've been together about a year now. It's kinda cute how awkward he is. Now shhhh or they'll hear us."

       We tiptoed through the halls and hid behind Tim's open door to listen. The first sound we heard was the obvious sound of someone being slapped.

       "Ow!" Tim yelled. "What was that for, Lauren?!"

       "Oh, I don't know," a girl's voice replied. "Maybe for keeping from me that you're the freaking Boy Wonder! What if you had gotten killed?!"

       "Relax," Tim urged. "I'm not going to get killed. I didn't tell you because it took me forever to get permission to tell you now. If I'd told you any earlier, Bruce would have gone ballistic!"

       Lauren seemed to calm down. "I guess that makes sense. I'm glad you told me Tim."

       I could pretty much hear Tim blushing. "I'm glad I told you too. I really like you, Lauren."

       "I 'really like' you too, Tim," she mocked. "Now are you going to kiss me or not?"

       Me and Dick shared a glance and both nodded. I pulled out my phone and we counted silently to three before jumping out from behind the door. I used my phone to snap a picture of Tim and his girlfriend kissing.

       "TIM KISSED A GIRL!" we both yelled.

       He jumped away from Lauren and whipped his head in our direction.

       "Dick?! Christina?!" he screamed. "What the hell are you guys doing?!"

       Me and Dick high-fived and ran down the hallway, laughing like maniacs the whole way. We heard Lauren laughing behind us. I like this girlfriend of Tim's already, but he is so gonna kill us.

A/N: Are you happy now, Lauren?! This chapter didn't really have much purpose, I'm just stalling until I write a better chapter. Good news: Every chapter from now on will be written during the week leading up to it's publication instead of me writing it in half an hour! Hooray!

       Sorry for the late update guys. I was busy with a science project and studying for my final over the weekend (I got 66 out of 70 WOOP) and I took a short-notice babysitting job last night. DON'T KILL ME PLEASE!
