A/N I apologize beforehand, but you probably guessed it by the titel. This one-shot is going to be a sad one. It literally broke my heart writing this. But I needed to get revenge on Noya4oya, so yeah! Sorry!

Third person

It was a happy, sunny day and Keith was driving towards the house of his boyfriend, Lance. Keith had been driven for a 2 hours now and he needed to drive for another hour, to get to Lance's house. He decided to make a stop and get some coffee.

The once sunny day changed into a gloomy, rainy day in just a few minutes. Keith drank his coffee cup empty and left. He noticed that it was raining really hard and it was a bit hard to see. Keith knew he shouldn't go and drive in this kind of wheater, but he wanted to see Lance. So he ran through the rain, to his car and entered his car and drove away.

Because of the rain pouring down on the windshield, the wipers where going crazy to keep the windshield clean. To let Keith see the road that was ahead of him. He was nearly there, nearly at the home of Lance. He would have made it, if the driver on the other side of the road didn't ride on the wrong side. Keith went out of the lane to avoid the driver. The carwheels slipped and caused the car to spin and go off road. Keith tried to get the car back on the road, but it wasn't working. The car tumble over and stopped when it was on it's roof side. Keith sight was getting blurry and he began losing consciousness. The last thing he heard was someone screaming. Then he blacked out.

With Lance

Lance was watching TV, he was waiting for Keith to arrive. Most of the time Keith just comes over whenever he wants, cause he lives really close. This time however it's a little bit different. Keith had gone to a birthday of one of his friends, Shiro. He told Lance he would stay over there and come back today, it was a 3 hour drive. Lance noticed that it was pouring outside and lighting was cracking across the sky. He hoped Keith was alright, driving in this kind of weather is dangerous.

After a few minutes the phone started ringing. Lance jumped of the couch and ran to the phone, thinking it was Keith calling that he was somewhere save. Lance picked up the phone and said, "Hello! Keith? You there?". "I'm sorry, but I'm not Keith, this is Dr. Coran Smythe talking. Keith Kogane has been in a car accident. He's now in the hospital, he's accident has been pretty bad.". Lance was so shocked he dropped the phone, it was like everything was going in slow motion. The words 'Keith' and 'car accident' were swirling through his mind. He felt like crying and screaming. His heart felt like it was stabbed over and over again for like a million times. He was shaking, yet no tears were falling. He picked up the phone with shaking hands to hear Dr. Smythe talking through the phone, "Hello Mr. McClain? Are you still there?". "Yeah, yeah. I'm still here. How bad was the accident?" Lance asked, his voice cracking slightly. "He's in a coma, we don't know if he'll make it. You can see him if you want." Dr. Smythe said over the phone. "Yes, I would like to see him. Which room is he in?" Lance was biting at his fingernails. He felt the anxiety creeping up behind him, waiting to swallow him up. "He's in room 116, first floor." The doctor said. Lance thanked Dr. Smythe, bid his goodbyes and hung up the phone.

Lance raced to his bike and began to cycle to the hospital, wanting to be there when Keith would wake up or to be there to when he takes his last breaths. Lance got to the hospital and ran inside, looking at the numbers, he ran to the elevator. He was soaking wet from the rain outside, many people were looking at him weird. Lance didn't care, he needed to be at Keith's side, now. He got to the room 116, the door was closed. Lance was scared to see what was on the other side of the door. The love of his live would be there, he knows that, but Keith would look so broken and bruised. Lance opened the door and that's when the tears began streaming like crazy. There he was, laying in a hospitalbed, wires and tubes attached to him, to keep him alive. Lance took a chair and placed in next to the bed, sat down and grabbed Keith's hand. Keith's hands were cold, that made Lance miss Keith's warm hands. "Keith? Can you hear me?" Lance sobbed, trying to get a respons from Keith, even if it was a squeeze of a hand.
