Carter: ugh! Not you too! Percy and Sadie are already ganging up on me! They are torturing me to my death!

A voice whispered in my ear. It gave an evil laugh and disappeared.

I gained consciousness but I kept my eyes closed. I could hear Percy's distressed voice.

"-happening? What if my vision is coming true?"

"Don't worry, Perce, She'll be fine."

It was Percy and Annabeth. But who were they talking about?

"But-"

"Percy, think positive. You faced a fury when you were 12, without a single day of training! You went through the sea of monsters, You held up the sky, you survived a volcano eruption, you fought Kronos himself, you turned down immortality for a chance to make the world a better place, you ticked off nearly all the olympian gods and managed to survive, you went missing and sent me into eternal worry, you became praetor in a roman camp, you did so many amazing thing! I'm sure that your sister would be just like you. I haven't know her for long but I already know that she is sweet, kind, loyal, sarcastic, funny, and- and just like you Percy. Which means, she will survive."

What Annabeth told warmed me to the heart.

She would, make an amazing sister!

"I know, I know, I'm just worried, Beth. I never knew what it was like to be a big brother, now I just feel like if something happens to her, it'll be my fault."

Okay. Now they were scaring me. they were talking as if I was destined to die or something!

I decided to make my presence known.

I opened my eyes groggily and sat up on the bed.

"Are you alright Alyssa?" Percy asked me, immediately by my side, closely followed by Annabeth.

My shoulder felt like ten elephants stomped on it. I could barely move it. I was anything but okay.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lied.

"Are you sure?" Annabeth asked me concern clear in her voice.

"Yeah. I'm sure. What were you guys talking about?" I asked them curiously.

"Uh, nothing." Percy said quickly.

"Percy, I heard you. It's definitely not nothing. Did you really do all that Annabeth told?" I asked him.

"All that and more." Annabeth confirmed.

"Why'd you turn down immortality?" I asked.

Percy was looking embarrassed with all the attention directed at him so Annabeth decided to answer for him.

"After the Titan war, the gods allowed Percy one gift. Anything. Even the chance to be a minor god. But seaweed brain made the gods promise to claim their half blood children by the time they reach thirteen. There should be cabins for the minor gods at Camp Half Blood and the minor gods should get the respect they deserved."

Wow, my brother was so awesome!

"I turned it down for something else as well." Percy muttered. Annabeth didn't seam to hear, but I did.

Hmm, I'll have to ask him about that later.

"Why'd you hold up the sky?" I asked.

"Well-" Annabeth started but Percy cut her off.

"Long story. The important question is, are you okay?" Percy asked me.

"Yes, I am Percy. And I'm also hungry. Can we go and eat something?" I asked.

Annabeth laughed. "Just like your brother."

I smiled and got up with the help of Percy and Annabeth and made my way towards the dinning room.
