Meeting(M's route)

Dimmed sunlight hit your face. You slowly opened your eyes and watched the dust dance in the red-shimmering light shining through the curtains. You growled and put one hand over your eyes to adjust to the idea that you just woke up. 

Thinking back to yesterday you felt like a huge weight was lifted from your shoulders but at the same time it felt like someone just tugged on your heart and wouldn't let go.

"Can we talk?"

For a few minutes only silence could be heard on the other side of the phone. You gripped phone a bit harder, nervous if Haruka would hang up any seconds. You were afraid too since Haruka was like a ticking bomb. 

Usually he was indifferent and mild-mannered but since the small incident that has happened with Midori, he started acting different. Even though it wasn't such a big deal but it still changed your views on Midori. 

A few weeks ago you would have been still blind and dense towards Haruka's feelings but now you knew better. It wasn't that you were really dense or didn't know but you just didn't want to admit or acknowledge it because once you do, you felt like something would change, something would break that can never be fixed again.

"Why?" he finally answered. 

You felt like you could breathe normally again for the first time. Midori pinched your back seeing your relieved expression on your face. 

He also put his thumbs up and then showed with a smug towards the bedroom, indicating: if you are successful you can reward me with a little treat later since I helped you. 

Giving him a scornful look you focused back on the conversation with Haruka.

"Erm because it is really important and I plan on having Haru-tan with us for the meeting." 

 It was a bit weird talking to Haruka in this uncomfortable atmosphere. You really missed the old times. Once again a long awkward silence and you felt like it could swallow you up whole that was how reserved Haruka was. Sadness lingered in you.

" Fine. Are you sure Nii-san is really going to come?"

"Yeah, I am going to talk to him. Don't worry."

"..."

"..."

"Ok, say the place and time. I am going to be there."

"Really? Thanks Haru-chan, you are amazing!" you probably shouldn't have said that because it was dead again on the other line. 

After telling him the details, you hung up and let out a long sigh before you collapsed on the couch. Finally you found the courage to tell the twins what was going on and hopefully everything was going to be alright. 

"Hmmm, what are we going to say?" Midori's face appeared before yours, his soft hair tickled your cheeks.

"Thank you~ Seriously without you I wouldn't have found the courage to do this."

You sat up straight on the sofa and Midori backed a bit away to give you space.

"You know I could do with that body crushing hug again. I could really feel them ~"

"Feel what?"

"You know, how should I express it without you getting upset..?"

'Oh no, it's going to be something bad and embarrassing for sure,' you thought, carefully eyeing him.
