'C'mon you know you like it~'
'Yes, I want more~'
'Tell me you want me too~'
"Oho, this is interesting."
...
"Hmm there's more... Maybe I should make her watch those..."
"Woah but that's hardcore. I don't think I want to make her that naughty tho."
But wow Haruki what an amazing collection you have, I bet if your father would've seen them, you won't be alive anymore.
"MIDORI YOU BASTARD! Where the hell are you?" Midori could hear Haruki screaming from downstairs.
He was tempted to shout back 'come and catch me' while dropping all of his collection down the stairs but it would be too much of a pain to clean the mess up.
"Well, well, you can guess three times where else I could find something that bold."
For a moment Midori could hear nothing, he thought that Haruki couldn't hear him so he was shocked when suddenly an enraged Haruki stood behind me.
"Oh~ that's scary Haruharu~ you shouldn't hold something like that outside a survival game," Midori winked at Haruki but that must've made it even worse.
He could feel the murderous aura emitting from the usual innocent Haruki, well that was what he would've thought but now that he knew his secret he could say that Haruki was far from innocent.
"If. you. dare. to. tell .someone. I. am. going. to. murder. you. brutally."
"Haha, are you sure you can do it? You've never been able to beat me in a survival game, less to say your own brother."
"That's..."
Oh, he reverted back.
Haruki put the weapon in his hand down with an embarrassed face, slowly he asked Midori:
"Please don't tell anybody about it."
"Well, there has to be a price for it~"
"What? What do you mean?"
"In return for me not telling anybody about this, you have to tell me everything about her and by everything I mean every little secret, weakness and childhood stories. You know the complete package. Deal?"
Midori took a step towards Haruki and looked at him with an expressionless face.
"Well?" he questioned the cornered Haruki further.
He watched Haruki's fingers twitch and his eyes frantically searching the ground for an answer.
He looks like an otome. How amusing. What if she was in this kind of situation? Ah it would so exciting~
After a while, Midori could hear Haruki whisper:
"I'm sorry. Forgive me."
Midori smiled to himself.
_______________
What is this feeling I suddenly got?
You shivered a bit because it felt like something cold and slimy was making its way across your body.
Hopefully I won't get a cold, you thought.
It's been 3 days since you ate with Haruka in the kitchen. You spent the time on the bed staring at the ceiling like you did for the past week, it seemed like so much time passed. You didn't know and you didn't care. Suddenly you heard the lock turn around.
"Let's go," Haruka said.
"What? Where are we going to?" ignoring your question Haruka took you by the hand and lead you out of the room down the stairs.
"No wait. Haruka where are you dragging me?" you said while taking your hand out of his grip. You both stopped in the living room and looked at each other.
"On a date," Haruka said but as soon as he did he turned his face around and you couldn't see his expression. Although you could hear that he sounded sad.
"Huh? What a date? Why Haruka? Why are you doing this?" he still didn't turn around to look at your face.
"Don't worry, after it I am going to let you out and we both can go back to our normal lives..."
"But what abou-"
"I'll tell him. He will have to listen to me."
"Haruka," you said softly, you knew it must hurt to say something like this but it still didn't justify his actions,
"Don't you think a date will make everything worse?"
"Then what do you want me to do?" Haruka nearly shouted, you've never experienced him angry except for that one time when you were kids.
"Get over it and find someone else."
You knew it was maybe not the best thing to say to someone in this situation but better be blunt than to hide your meanings. Haruka had to understand that it was not ok. It was not ok to get so obsessed and crazy about someone to the point he would lock them up and take away their freedom.
"I don't want to, Haruka! Can't you just let me go now?"
"Then tell me, are you willing to sacrifice me, our friendship, all these years we have known each other, for Midori?"
You stared at him in utter disbelief. His words rang in your head.
If you want something badly, you have to sacrifice something else in return.
"No, I wish we could be like we used to be but we can't go back now. It's too late," you decided firmly.
"What is it that you like about him so much? He didn't even come here to save you!"
Well, you know that Haruka was right.
What is Midori doing? Doesn't he know that Haruka kidnapped me? Hasn't he tried to contact me? Does he even have feelings for me?
Those thoughts rang in your head and made you doubt yourself but at the moment you couldn't care less.
"Yes, I...you know..I l-l-like him, ok?" you wanted to start confident in yourself but when you actually had to say it, it felt weird and so embarrassing. You wanted to slap yourself, inside you felt like jelly.
"And it doesn't matter if he didn't come to save me. We are not in a fairy tale and I bet he has a good reason for it."
"Then, you tell me one good reason why you like Midori."
"Huh?"
What is it that I like about him? His appearance? Well, he does look good. His personality? That twisted guy? nah.. His behaviour?....I don't know. omg I'm so stupid.
"I don't know but I just like him. There isn't a good reason for it. He is annoying, awful, perverted but I still like to be with him soo..." staring at the ground you tried to avert Haruka's gaze.
He isn't going to buy it. He is definitely not going to buy it.
"Fine."
Huh?
When you looked up again, Haruka was nowhere to be found. Although you couldn't hear him going out or anything.
After you searched the whole house you came to the conclusion that Haruka was gone and he left the front door unlocked.
You smiled.
Thank you Haruka.
