"I guess that's more than enough for you, right?" Jack turned to Black Lily. The girls were unusually quiet tonight.

"Yeah, sure. We'll do it quickly as always," Saejin snapped. The others nodded. He raised an eyebrow before shrugging at the girls' weird behaviour.

"Then that's that. I'm hoping on you, Black Lily," he smiled.

Collegium Magicus, Demon Dormitory (Girls)

Hyerin tapped the coffee table in the living room, making some kind of funky music. The others were spacing out, or probably thinking the same thing as she was.

"How can we do our job without getting caught by Mr. Im?" She repeated the question softly. There was only silence for a few moments when Hayi spoke up.

"Say, this Lee guy isn't that tough, right?" She put the picture of their target, Lee Baekmyung, that she had been staring at just now, on the table. The others nodded.

"Good. I have an idea," she smiled.

Main gate of Collegium Magicus, the next day
2350 hours

"Where on the fucking heaven is this little bitch?!" Suga groaned for the fifth time. He had been waiting for Haeyeon since 20 minutes ago and she hadn't show up. As a safety step, he had asked her in school if she wanted to come to patrol tonight, which she said yes.

"Yet she's not here. Stinky demon," he murmured.

"Excuse me? I fucking use Victoria's Secret and you said I stink?" A girl's voice suddenly snapped up behind him. He turned and met Haeyeon's annoyed face. Rolling his eyes, he simply walked off, ignoring her. She clicked her tongue before following him from the back.

There wasn't any exchanged conversation between the two. The only thing Suga said to her was if she wanted to do the patrol from the air, which she declined.

"My wings are sore from Flight Training today," she complaint. Shrugging, he went with her decision. Haeyeon looked up at the dark night sky. I wonder how Seungjo and Jaehi are, she thought to herself.

Hotel Rooftop in Spirittide

Seungjo and Jaehi, clad in their black bodycons and capes, were hiding behind stacks of boxes. Jaehi was keeping watchful eyes on the door.

"He's not there yet?" Saejin asked Seungjo, and she replied with a no.

"It's almost 12 now. If Jack was right, he'll show up anytime soon," She continued.

"Are you sure you don't need any extra hand? He might not be a tough one, but he's still a well-known demon hunter," Hyerin's worried voice spoke up. Seungjo smirked.

"We'll be fine. Haeyeon's on her patrol, isn't she?"

"Yeah. She'd been out for a few minutes now," Haneul replied. Just then, Jaehi placed her hand on Seungjo's wrist. She nodded softly to her.

"Gotta go, guys. It's showtime," she grinned and went invincible. Standing in the center of the rooftop was Lee Baekmyung, the famous demon hunter.

"As we planned, Jo," Jaehi whispered.

Suga yawned a little. The forest was very quiet. The only thing he was hearing now was Haeyeon's soft voice humming to some kind of song. He still didn't said anything to her, and he didn't want to. She was looking around while humming a bit more loudly this time. Sometimes, she would take a few glances at the angel.
