Park Family Vacation House

"Thanks for the meal!" The angels grinned and started to dig in. They were having dinner at the demons'. Main reason was a payback to Jin for being the BBQ party chef.

"Plus, we wanted to have a taste of your cooking," Jimin flashed his eyesmile. After a harmonious dinner, the angels stayed back for a while as they looked around the Park mansion.

"This mansion is taken care well even after you guys moved out," Rapmon commented as he flipped on the books. Hayi nodded.

"We have a few people taking care of it," she stated shortly. Jaehi was spacing out by herself so she was left behind by the group. Her twin noticed it and went to her side.

"How was the councelling the other day?" She asked in a hushed tone so that the angels wouldn't heard it. Immediately, the younger twin's face turned dark. She shook her head slowly. Hayi sighed a bit before rubbing her sister's back assuringly.

"I need some alone time," Jaehi said flatly and walked away. When she passed by the group, they could feel her darker than usual aura. Jin lowkey shuddered.

"Is she at it again?" He whispered to the demons. The girls' forced smiles and shrugs told the boys their oldest hyung was right.

"It's okay. She's Wrath anyway," Seungjo chimed in. Haeyeon nodded, agreeing with the tomboy.

"Just let her be alone for a while," Saejin told them. The angels nodded, while J-Hope muttered a low scary. As they moved on with their mini tour, V stopped in his tracks, his eyes trailing the vanishing figure of Jaehi. He glanced at his friends, before heading into the opposite direction, following Jaehi.

Park Family Private Beach

Jaehi stood still in front of the night sea, the waves crashing on her feet. She clenched her fists.

"Eomma! Appa!" She shouted loudly, breaking through the silence.

"I'm sorry I'm still weak!" Another stressed shout. Her chest heaved with the tense.

"I promise I'll become stronger! To protect Hayi! To take revenge for you!" She finished her oath with a frustrated shout. Whistling loudly, she summoned for Phoenix, which came roaring in the air of Dreverie not long after that.

"Alright, Phoenix. Time to train," she said soullessly and opened her wings. Phoenix already knew what his master meant, so he began to attack his own master. In the meantime, Jaehi had activated her Doomsday, full mode, and was attacking the dragon back.

Phoenix is a war dragon. And he is exceptionally strong. Even when he fought with the demon who possessed one of the most deadly powers, she was still far from the beast. Until at one point of the master-pet fight, Phoenix's spiky tail whipped Jaehi's wings, and she lost control. She fell into the water with a splash.

"Ugh... You've gotten stronger Phoenix," she groaned in pain when she got out of the cold water. Her black wings was wet and injured, so she couldn't continue the training. Signalling for Phoenix to go back, she lie down on the sand while waiting for her wings to dry.

Without her knowing, V was watching the whole scene with an amused face. He never saw a master fighting with her own pet before. Even he himself never did it with Myst. Carefully, he walked over to the sleeping demon and sat beside her.

"Maybe she's too tired," he murmured under his breath when the girl didn't give a shit to his presence. About 10 minutes had passed when Jaehi finally realized of his presence. She sighed.
