Epilogue II

Hyunsoo X Chaeyoung

The fairy boy paced back and forth in his room. It wasn't his usual room anymore. It was bigger and wider and more elegant, fit for a prince. For a king-to-be. The reason? He will be engaged to the fairy princess.

He was flustered by the sudden royalty like treatments that he got. Starting from the moment he woke up, everything was prepared and done by the servants.

"Hyunie?" Chaeyoung knocked on his door and opened it a bit. He smiled when he saw his soon-to-be fiancée walking in. Even so, she could still see the worried and unsettled feeling behind his smile. Grinning softly, she locked her arm with his.

"Nervous?"

"A little. Okay, jokes apart. A lot," he sighed as he glanced into the mirror for the fourth time. The fairy princess helped him with his bow tie and looked up to him, her smile assuring.

"It's gonna be okay Hyunie. You'll be fine. Plus, it's only an engagement, not a real wedding!" She giggled. His expression softened when she heard her words. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he laughed softly.

"Sure it is, but I'm getting ready for our wedding too,"

"That'll happen when the time comes. For now, relax, take a deep breath, and remember what I told you,"

"The future king of Fladria was once a brave young knight, and a braver king he will be," he sang her words out. She hummed in approval.

"Shall we, Your Highness?" He held out his hand. She took it, and whispered.

"Chae should do it, fiancée dearest," laughing together, they went down to the ballroom to greet the guests, hand-in-hand.

Jimin X Hayi

Hayi glared at the dryad who walked past her slowly. When he saw her glaring, he ran away in terror. The demon sighed before she reached for her phone. Her thumb brushed on her twin's picture on the screen, and she smiled a little.

"I miss you Jaehi," she said slowly. Scrolling through her contacts, she dialled a number. The number she had been contacting frequently.

"Yes Hayi?"

"You free Jimin?"

"Pretty much. What is it this time?" The angel answered jokingly.

"I was planning to play a trick on anyone but it's too biring without Jaehi. Will you come and join me?" She laughed. He rolled his eyes.

"I'll come over but I won't join you," he grinned. When the angel finally found her, she was giving a 'talk' to one of their juniors. He shook his head slowly, walked up to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. Mouthing a sorry to the tranced 1st Year, he dragged her away, with the demon still in his arms.

"Stop bullying okay? It's not nice," he said softly to the girl. She pouted and kicked a stone in front of her.

"I was bored while waiting for you. Plus Jaehi isn't here," her voice dropped, and she inched away from him. He glanced at her and sighed quietly.

"I know. I miss V too," he admitted. They walked in silence until they reached the school gate. Hayi, with her usual playful grin, cocked an eyebrow at the boy. He smiled sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Since the hyungs and Jungkook are skipping class too, I'll keep you company today," he shrugged in defeat. Laughing excitedly, the two of them escaped the school ground and went for a mini date.

"When will you admit you like me?" Jimin asked suddenly, sipping his iced coffee. The girl choked on her ice-cream and smacked his arm.

"When did I ever?!" She half-shouted, causing him to laugh.

Jungkook X Haneul

Isis purred lazily on Haneul's lap. She was brushing her fur when the Norwegian Forest jumped down from her lap and went straight for her window. When she looked at it, a certain angel boy was waving from the outside. She rolled her eyes.

"How did you know I was here?" She opened the window for him to get in. Jungkook landed on the floor gently and grinned innocently.

"I asked Hayi. And everyone ditched class so, why not?" She smiled at his reply. That smile faltered when she saw Isis nuzzling her face on his leg, ignoring her owner completely.

"Yah, Isis. Your owner is right here," she mumbled when the boy picked the cat up into his arms. He grinned teasingly at her.

"Isis loves me more,"

"Well that sucks," she crossed her arms and was about to walk out of her room when the feline jumped down again, but this time she ran outside. The both of them followed her to bring her back, but soon realized where they were.

"There's a place like this in the forest?" The girl looked around the scenic clearing. Isis was sitting in the middle, licking her paw.

"You're still wearing that necklace?" The boy asked her as they sat down next to the cat. She looked down to the shell necklace and smiled.

"Of course I do,"

"I have something else though," he mumbled softly and took out a pair of necklaces, with a black and white wing for the lockets respectively. He put the white winged one around her neck.

"I made this with magic too. Except that this time, this necklace stores our memories and also your favourite thing," he smiled sweetly.

"Your voice?" She looked up to him, and he nodded, and stated that his necklace stored her voice. Haneul giggled.

"You can be really sweet sometimes,"

"Aren't I always?" Jungkook laughed and pulled her into his arms. She shook her head playfully, causing him to mess her hair as they burst into laughter.
