jihye turned around to see baekhyun only standing a few meters behind but close enough for her to look at his features.

baekhyun checked his phone and scowled at the screen.

that scowl turned into a playful smirk when jihye started to fidget in her seat.

no but never accept rejection as failure

jihye almost jumped when someone sat beside her.

"having fun, eh?"

baekhyun was even more angelic up front, more perfect even if that was possible.

"you're even more prettier in real life than in pictures", continued baekhyun as if he was in a daze.

"you're hot"

 jihye just blurted out her ongoing thought in front of baekhyun. she was embarrassed.

baekhyun only laughed. the laughing sounded like music to her, the most pleasant one yet.

his phone dinged then notifying him of a text from chanyeol. they had to leave now or they would have a hard time answering questions in the dorm.

"i'm really sorry but i gotta go...." baekhyun trailed off to look out for a response from the girl.

jihye felt a bit sad when she heard that but it was time for her to go back as well. she only nodded and stood awkwardly when baekhyun tried to pull her into a small hug which she thought was a handshake. they awkwardly hugged and smiled at each other. they finally pulled out of the hug and bid goodbyes with both of them disappearing into the crowd of people.

her phone dinged.
