Family home videos are the best way to deal with death

We all walked home after we gave dad a proper farewell. Barton had gone back and gotten Erik and Josh so we were all there. By the time we got home it started to rain.

"Oh how cliché is that? Raining after someone dies. Thanks Mother Nature." I muttered. Josh kept looking over at me, then back at Tyler. I just rolled my eyes. We walked inside the house and just sat there. None of us knew what to do.

Loki and I were on the couch together. I had curled up into his side. Peter was siting on the floor by Stark and Rogers feet, who were sitting on the couch to our left. Maximoff was on the other side of them. Barnes and Romanoff were on the chairs. Tyler moved to come sit by me but Josh pulled him over to Barnes and Romanoff. He looked at me questioningly. I nodded. He walked over to his parents with his brother. Maximoff and Barton along with Erik sat on the other end of the couch we were sitting on.

We had positioned ourselves in front of the television, as if we were expecting it to come on and say dad was still alive. But it didn't. It stayed off, not making a sound.

"You know what we should do?" Stark asked.

"What Tony?" Romanoff counter-asked. I sniffled slightly. I wasn't crying unlike some people but my eyes stung with unshed tears.

"We should watch family home videos. Just because Morgan didn't have a lot of time with Bruce." I rolled my eyes.

"My name is Elizabeth, not Morgan." I muttered.

"Go on Tony, go get the box." Rogers said, motioning for Stark to leave.

"Okay!" He cheered as he got up and left. Stark came back a few minutes later with a box filled with old video tapes. "Now most of them are going to be about our two, but. . . I don't know where I'm going with this. Let's just watch them." He rambled as he turned the t.v on. Soon the screen showed a picture of Tony and Steve with the pause button covering most of it. He pressed play and sat back down next to Rogers. We all started to watch it, not knowing what was going to happen.

"With this ring I thee wed." Stark said as he slipped the ring onto Rogers' finger.

"With this ring I thee wed." Rogers repeated as he slid the ring onto Stark's finger.

"I now pronounce you husbands for life. You may kiss the groom." Someone who was off camera announced. They didn't hesitate to do so. The crowd cheered and the camera turned off.

The next scene was when Rogers was four months pregnant. He was on the couch reading the newspaper. Stark came up behind him.

"Smile at the camera, Steve." His voice said from behind the camera. Rogers looked over at Stark.

"What on Earth are you doing?" He asked.

"Recording videos so we can watch them when she's older." Stark gestured to Rogers' stomach.

"Makes sense, but why are you recording now?"

"Because." Stark responded nonchalantly. Rogers rolled his eyes.

"You saw the camera and the idea popped into your mind." He corrected.

"Mhm. Man Stevie, you know me so well."

"Yeah well, it doesn't take much." Rogers commented. Stark made some unintelligent noise.

"Oh shush. Do you have anything to say to our future child or children?" Rogers raised an eyebrow.

"You really think we're gonna have more than one?"

"Mhm, now say what you're gonna say. The camera's about to die."
