we could not turn back time even if we want to. but, here's the thing. every time we met, every time our eyes locked for an infinity too long, every time our skin brushed ever so lightly against each other, every time we shared our bated breaths in the woods, every time i looked up the midnight sky, i was transported back to the time where we owned the world at 3 am. time seemed irrelevant when we were basked in each other's companies. i was a fool, then. without even checking if the road was clear, i collided head first into your undefined world and i was sucked in by your tantalising cerulean eyes with the azure irises that i fell in love with. i laid in my own pool of blood, wishing that i checked if the road was clear, then i wouldn't have collided head first into you and bled from a broken heart.
