my lips were sealed shut, but my eyes told the story of broken promises long forgotten. you were of the arrogant perpetrator that only knew no shame upon crumbled ruins of trust. you spewed viridian poison which was as corrosive as it was deadly. you tipped my head and gladly poured the liquid down my throat, staring wildly as you watched it trickled down my chin. you basked in my pain and screams of profanities as i gagged on sanguine blood. you found ebullience in watching me die. you broke my heart, leaving it in pieces, and you didn't even let me pick them up. you wrapped them in a rag cloth and discarded it like trash. you liked to frolic around my agony and leave me limp on dirt. i couldn't even resent you, because i had believed the words that you spoke when i know i shouldn't, and it became the death of me.
