Recap
"Let's eat!" I announced. "You guys did get the food right?" Luke asked.
"Of course we did." Dori said. "Where is it?" I asked.
"I left them in the car." Nick said.
"I'll get it." Dori sighed.
End of Recap
"So what are your plans for your birthday celebration?" Nick asked me before sitting down on the couch.
"Nothing actually. This is already too much for me." I assured him.
I started boxing the presents back to their original state. Except for the charm bracelet that Nick gave me.
"Oh c'mon now Nicole! It's your 16th birthday live a little." Luke joined in.
"Yeah what he said. Sweet Sixteen baby!" Nick cheered.
"Big N.O" I assured them.
"But why not?" Nick whined while tugging on to my left arm.
"Because I said so now quit your whining please." I shoved Nick away while rolling my eyes.
"There must be something that you want to do to celebrate your birthday Nicole." Luke said. "How about we do a couple of shots?" he suggested.
"Yeah... do have any Whiskey?" Nick asked.
"Not really I just want to get some sleep after dinner that's all and my dad will probably kill both of you if you ever let me drink ever again." I said.
"Wait. What?" Nick asked with a seriously confused expression.
"David will what?" Luke asked with an even more confused expression.
"Wait David will.. what?" Nick asked again.
"My da.." I tried to explain to both of them before I was interrupted.
"Hey I'm back go get some water Nicole." Dori walked in while carrying the foods.
"Hold that thought Dori." Luke said before facing me again. "Your dad will what Nicole?" he continued.
"He told me to lay off the alchohol the day after Dori's bonfire party when we came back from Dunstin's." I explained.
"Wait wait wait... what?" This time it's Dori. "Seriously your dad told you to?" She asked.
"Yeah.." I sighed.
"David Applement told you to?" Dori asked again.
"ahemm." I nodded.
"I need some water and air." Nick exlaimed while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Are you sure David's not high or drunk we he said that Nicole?" Luke asked.
"Yep!" I replied popping the "p".
"There goes the award for The Best Dad of The Year." Said Dori.
"I know right!." I exclaimed before heading to the kitchen.
After Dinner
I was washing the dishes when Luke came in.
"So why don't you have any plans to celebrate your birthday?" Luke asked while sitting on the counter.
"Well I don't really want to talk about it actually." I replied coldly.
"Why not?" he asked while staring at me.
"Just let it go Luke!" I snapped.
"Please." I pleaded while looking into his eyes.
"Okay next topic!" He announced.
"How does it feel to be a Sophomore in High School after summer's over." He faked held a mic to my mouth causing me to chuckled with his unusual way of recovery.
"To be honest I'm thrilled." I answered.
"Of course you are Nicole especially with a Senior like me there to guide you under my wings." he exclaimed.
"Wait how old are you?" I asked.
"Really Nicole? After spending almost all of your time here in America with me you still don't even now my age?" he let out in frustration.
"Well..." I tried to find a good excuse.
"I'm 17 meaning I'm in the 12th grade." He explained.
"Okay noted." I nodded.
"And I'm guessing you're gonna want to know about Dori and Nick too." he asked.
"yeah.." I hesitated.
Luke exhailed loudly before he continued.
"Dori's 18 but she's also in the 12th grade like me so she's a Senior." he explained.
"And Nick's 17 but he's in the 11th grade because his birthday's a couple of months later than mine making him a Junior." He continued.
"Okay Dori's the eldest... you're the middle child and Nick's the baby." I recalled.
"Yeah if you put it that way." Luke shurugged.
"Yo Luke come here for a sec!!!" Nick yelled for Luke from the living room.
"What for?" Luke yelled back.
"Just get your ass here!!!!" Dori yelled back.
"The middle child is always the slave." He muttered under his breath before making his way to the living room.
"And hey about the thing we did before." I called for him.
"What thing?" He asked.
"Well you know... that thing.." I blushed.
"Kiss?" He smirked.
"Yyyeahhh thhhatt thhingg." I stuttured.
"What about it?" He question with that bloody god like smirk of his.
'I kin..." I tried to tell him but was cut off.
"LUKE!!!!!!!!" Nick and Dori yelled in unison from the living room.
"I'm coming you primatives!!!" He yelled back. "You..?" He faced me again.
"LUKE!!!!!" Dori yelled again.
"I'll just go and deal with... you know.. for a second." He tried to explain.
"GOD!!! he's so adorable when he's flustered." I thought.
"It's okay...go." I assured him with a smile.
