He started moving his lips up and down and I did too and slowly my closed my eyes. I placed my hands around his neck.

"Nicole!!!!!!!!" I heard Dori's voice coming from the front foyer.

I immediately pushed Luke away from me and scoffed futher from him.

"aaa yeahh?" I replied. "Where are you? Come help me carry the food!" Dori yelled. "Okay coming!" I answered.

I left Luke frozen on the couch in the living room and walked to the front foyer.

"Dori where are you?" I yelled.

No answer. No one is in the foyer.

Suddenly the lights went off

"Dori?..............Nick?........Luke?" I called.

"What happened to the lights?" Luke said from behind me , he was using his phone as a torch light. "I donno." I replied. "Dori called me here before." I continued. "It's probably Nick's idea of some lame prank." he sighed then pulled my waist. "Let's check the power." he said.

"H~~~apppy birthday to you~~~~~~~ Happy birthday to you~~~ Happy birthday to Ni~~~cole~~~ Happy birthday to~~ you~~~~~~" someone sang loudly.

Suddenly a few flickering light appeared in front of me and got closer. Nick was holding a cake with candles lit.

"Well? Make a wish Nicole." Nick said. "ahmm... okay." I replied before blowing the candles and made a wish.

"OKAY!!! Light's on!" Dori yelled then the lights went back on.

"Wow the cake is amazing!" I said excitedly. "Really? You like it?" Nick asked. "Yess!!!" I yelled. "Good coz I paid for it." Nick bragged. "Hey! I was the one who chose the design!" Dori interrupted. "Thanks you guys." I said before hugging Dori. 

"So today is Nicole's birthday?" Luke asked looking confused. "Duh! We just sang her a birthday song." Dori blurted. "Ouh... but I didn't know." he said softly. "It's okay. I wasn't expecting all this after all." I said to comfort him.

"Sorry to ruin this moment but can we find a table where I can place the cake on coz I'm getting tired holding this huge cake." Nick asked. "Living room." Dori replied before going to the garage.

Nick placed my cake on the coffee table in front of the couch that Luke and me sat on before.

"OKAY!!! present time!!!" Dori yelled making me startled.

"awww you guys didn't have too." I pouted in attempt of being cute. "But we did. So be grateful and open them quick." Dori said sarcasticly before handing me a stack of boxes.

I opened the smallest box and saw a gorgeous charm bracelet.

"Well?" Nick asked. "It beautiful and it has my initial as a charm." I replied.

"YES!!!" Nick cheered before giving Dori a high-5. "You must wear it all the time or else Nick here is gonna cry if you don't." Dori teased.

"No I'm not!" Nick yelled. 

"Ouh really? Coz I kinda recall that in the car.. Didn't you say that you hope she'll like it and wears it all the time or else it would have been a waste of your $3050?" Dori blurted.

"Well I bet you will if she don't." Luke backed Dori up.

"You spent that much on a charm bracelet?" I asked with my mouth wide open. "It's not just A charm bracelet! It's cartier's!" Dori explained. "I LOVE IT." I mouthed to Nick. He seemed happy with my compliment.

"Here let me put them on for you." Nick said. "Yeah." I replied.

I chose to wear it on my left wrist. 

"Thanks Nick." I said then kissed his right cheek. "Welcome. From now on you'll have to love me even more~" he sing a song.

"Yeah right." Luke blurted. Luke's expression was really scary like he's about to beat Nick up or even kill Nick.

"Oh brighten up will ya!." Nick teased. "Yeah don't be jealous!." Dori yelled before pulling Luke's cheeks without mercy.

"ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Luke screamed like a helpless little boy.

"Okay next is my mom's present for you." Dori said then handed me the biggest box. It was wrapped with black vintage wrapper and a huge pink bow on top. 

"Bloody hell!!!!!!" I screamed. "Is this from you mother's line?" I asked taking out the fully sequined gold mini dress. "Yes. Technically it's supposed to be for next season's collection but since she designed it specially for you , you get to be the first person to own it." Dori replied. "Omaigod! It's bespoke!' I said. 

"Bespoke?" Luke asked. "It's british for custom made." Nick replied for me. "Since when do you speak british?" Luke asked suspiciously. "Since Nicole moved next door." NIck replied with a grin.

"Okay last but not least AT ALL." Dori announced. "Yes!!" I said excitedly coz this cannot get any better than it already has.

I opened the box that Dori gave to me and it was wrapped with plain white wrapper but inside it's covered with green fabrics.

"Go on." Dori whispered. I lifted the green fabrics and.. "This is PRADA!" I exlaimed. This is officially the best birthday in my entire life!!!!

"Are you about to cry?" Luke asked while smirking. "This flats were supposed to be sold out everywhere." I wipped. 

"No... The ones I'm wearing were supposed to be sold out." Dori pointed to her red prada ballet flats. "Yours' are the ones that is handmade and only 5 are made every year." Dori said proudly.

"I love you Dori!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed before hugging her and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. 

"Hey! Why didn't I get a kiss!' Nick demanded. "Coz apparently your gift is not as awesome as Dori's my friend." Luke said patting Nick's back.

"Well only a girl knows what a girl wants!' Dori smirked.

"You guys are the best!" I said. "We know!" Nick and Dori said in unison.

"Now I really feel left out." Luke sighed.

"Don't worry you can still get her something for chrismass Luke." Dori teased. "HAHAHAHA" Luke faked a laugh.

"Let's eat!" I announced. "You guys did get the food right?" Luke asked.

"Of course we did." Dori said. "Where is it?" I asked.

"I left them in the car." Nick said.

"I'll get it." Dori sighed.
