"I'll just go and deal with... you know.. for a second." He tried to explain.

"GOD!!! he's so adorable when he's flustered." I thought.

"It's okay...go." I assured him with a smile.

Luke's POV

"What?" I snarled to both Dori and Nick in the living room.

"Dori's been thinking about throwing Apple a party." Nick said while checking his phone.

"It'll be a suprise after birthday party!" Dori announced with excitement while jumping up and down.

"No way. I'm not in." I protested. "Why not?" asked Dori.

"Because I don't want any parties!" Nicole half yelled from behind.

I turned around to see Nicole leaning to the wall behind me.

She sounded angry but her expression is really calm and composed.

"C'mon Nicole it'll be fun. I promise." Dori ensured her with a cheery tone in her voice.

"No thanks." Nicole replied simply.

"But whyy??? It's your Super Sweet Sixteen." Dori whined. "You're only 16 once Nicole. I mean what else could you possibly do when you turn 16 except to throw a party.........right Luke?" She continued.

Now everyone's attention is one me making me froze.

"Luke?" Dori called.

"Yeah.." I managed to let out a sound.

Dori lifted both of her eyebrows waiting for my answer.

"Well.....I guess...... It's a once in a lifetime celebration." I shrugged.

"See... What'd you say?" Dori asked Nicole who is now staring down to the floor.

"No thanks. I'm going to bed now. Please make yourselves comfortable." Nicole said then tried to make her way out of the living room.

"I think it'll be fun to..." I tried to convince Nicole after getting a caught of her left arm.

"Let me go!" Nicole yelled before pushing me away.

"Why are you being such a brat Nicole!" I snapped.

"Luke!" Dori warned me.

"We're only trying to make your birthday better for you!" I continued after ignoring Dori.

"Well don't!" Nicole snapped.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? That's it I'm done! " I yelled at her.
