Bo watched Mercy Rae's truck leave the parking lot of The Rose. He took his hat off and ran his fingers through his hair, his mind spinning at the feelings he was having for her already.
She was pretty, no downright beautiful. She had an incredible sense of humor and personality.
The dance they shared was nothing like he'd ever known and he'd danced with a lot of girls and anyone that knew him, knows he is not a Casanova when it comes to women.
He's a one woman man.
She felt amazing in his arms, so warm and soft, like she'd been made to fit there, personally just for him.
He loved the sway of her hips when she walked and the way her hair swung gently, it was like a light curtain blowin in a summer breeze.
Damn he was fallin hard for her and he was going to make it his mission to spend as much time as he could, getting to know her. She was exactly what he needed in his life.
"You like her don't you?" Tuck asked as he turned to face his friend.
Bo sighed and massaged the back of his neck, knowing that everyone would know by in the morning; that's how it was in a small town.
"I do Tuck. Your sister is a very special woman and I want to do right by her and if you think I need to come by and talk to Hank before I ask her out, I will" Bo told his friend.
"Brother out of all our friends, I trust you the most. I've never seen you mistreat a woman, ever. Not even the Charity Spencer's that deserve it. I'm happy for you" Tuck said, sticking out his hand.
The two friends shook hands, talked a bit longer and then went their separate ways.
Even after Bo got home, he continued to dwell on Mercy Rae and where he wanted this to go between them.
And just because he wasn't sure and had some doubts on how to proceed, he did know this much, he didn't want anyone else like he wanted her.
Damn just thinkin about her soft lips, how they kissed him back and out in her truck, putting his hands on her naked thighs, God she had the softest skin, like satin.
Never the kind of man to say this to a lady right off, but damn she was twistin his c*ck up. He was so hard for her that the only relief he would get was through a cold shower.
Feeling better after his shower, he stepped out onto the small balcony of the guest apartment on his parent's ranch, leaned up against the wood railing and just stared up into the crystal clear night sky.
He'd made up his mind. He was going to ask her out for Saturday night. He was going to take her to his Heaven like the one Jake Owen sung about in his favorite song.
No one had ever gone up there with him and he wanted to share that with her and only her.
He wanted to back his truck right up to the edge, sit on the open tailgate, drink beer, listen to the radio and just be with her.
He took one last glance up at the stars before callin it a night and feeling like he could probably sleep now, he walked inside and crawled into his bed.
Bo ended up laying there for quite a while and never had a woman distract him or invade his thoughts like his little filly had.
He smiled at the nickname his friend had coined for her because it suited her. She was carefree and beautiful.
He knew she was planning on showing up at the feed store, so maybe he would 'accidentally' need something from there as well, because to be honest he didn't know if he could wait for the BBQ to see her.
Tuck had said that he and Hank would be bringing Thor over to the Circle M tomorrow as well and he might just have to put together a little something for her horse, maybe bring her some flowers as well.
He figured the only way he was going to get any sleep was to just shut off his mind and close his eyes and hope that did the trick.

Five came early for Bo, but he didn't mind. He didn't feel tired at all as he pulled on his socks and then work jeans.
Next he slid on his work boots and went to his closet to find a work shirt.
Standing in his jeans, fitted, faded and hanging open, he knew he looked good, but he was not a conceited man, he was really down to earth and he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back.
He finally found the shirt he was looking for, his faded Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt. Tucking it in, he brushed his teeth, grabbed his hat and headed out the door.
He had no sooner gotten to the feed store, when he saw Mercy Rae's truck coming down Main Street; his heart quickening at the thought of seeing her again.
He did actually need some things and even had a list, so it wouldn't look like he was stalking her.
He watched her pull into the parking space and jump down from her truck and good God almighty, there had to be a law against someone looking as pretty as she did that early in the morning.
She was wearing faded, very tight Wranglers, brown Fat Babies, but what got him was, she was wearing a Lynyrd Skynyrd tank shirt and she looked sexy as hell!
He noticed the back of the shirt and it had sparkly angel wings on it and the way she filled out that shirt? He brought his fist to his mouth, willing his erection to go away, because she looked damn fine.
Once he got some control, he grabbed his list and got down from his truck and headed inside.
"Mornin Luke" Bo called out. "Bo, hey man. Gotch'er list?" He asked. Bo wasn't sure how he knew he had a list but he was thankful at any rate.
"Yep. I need some Russell 12% Sweet, Russell 14% Sweet, four bags of each. I also need Purina Wind and Rain Storm All Season, five bags.
I need a Royal King Bitless Training Bridle with reins. We're gettin a new colt and he's gonna need some breakin in" Bo told his friend.
About that time, Mercy Rae came up the aisle, items in her hands as well and looking good enough to eat.
"Well, Bo Robertson as I live and breath" she drawled, the sweet sound of her southern accent leaving him breathless.
He tipped his hat and grinned. "Ms. Mercy Rae. Mornin, little filly" he threw in for good measure as they continued to flirt with each other.
Finally Luke spoke up. "Aw Christ Bo! Ask the woman out, will ya? Y'all are too much this early in the morning" he whined.
She blushed while Bo smirked, thinking to himself that's exactly what he was going to do.
