Boys. The one thing that complicates every girl's life. Wouldn't life be so much easier without them? That's what Aria Pyne and Stella Lark think before junior year. Maybe, just maybe, some boys aren't so bad....
"So, I got asked to the snowball tonight," I started off.
"Yeah, so did I. Three times. By drunk guys who I'd never met before," She responded with a laugh.
"Ha! But really. Jordan asked almost right after we got there. He wasn't drunk."
"Wait, Jordan? The guy who failed last year and had to retake senior year? The guy whose huge on weightlifting? No way. What did you say?"
"I said yes. I mean, I didn't already have a date and he snaps me a lot. He's actually a pretty nice guy. He actually gave me a tackle box full of gummy worms, Sweedish fish, and goldfish crackers and there was a sign taped on the inside that said 'You'd be a "reel" catch if you go to snowball with me."
"That's so cute! Well, there you go!" She exclaimed. That meant that I was the only one of our friends without a date. Aria and I looked on Pinterest for dress and color scheme ideas for Jordan and I when she found a great idea.

All of them would choose a Marvel superhero to use their color scheme and the guy would wear an undershirt that looked like the superhero's suit. We decided that Jordan would be Thor and we'd wear lavender and gold. Merrick was the Hulk and Vivian and him would wear emerald green. Blake was Iron Man and they'd wear red and silver. Easton was going to be Ant Man and him and Everly would wear black. Laine's new boyfriend and her would wear gray and black and he'd be the Winter Soldier. Xavier would be Spiderman so Lila would wear black and red. Adrian was going by himself because he couldn't find a date but he'd be Doctor Strange. If Aria could find a date he'd be Hawkeye. Liam was Captain America and Willow would wear blue.
I sighed and crossed my fingers that she'd find a date.

Aria's POV
On Monday at school, class was pretty boring until 5th period, when I had French. When I went into the classroom, the lights were dimmed and there was some cheesy French music playing in the background. In the middle of the room, Julian stood holding a sign that read, "Allez-vous à la boule de neige avec moi?"
I felt a smile spread involuntary across my face as I nodded and exclaimed, "Oui! Bien sûr!" I walked over to him and gave him a quick hug before Stella came in and took our picture with the sign.

Stella's POV
That afternoon, All of the girls came over to my house and we picked out our dresses. We also decided we would just order all of the guys' stuff too. I was the first person to find what they were looking for. I showed the others.
