chapter 8: the Royal Court

Ilia's pov
I woke up in a bed......wait what? I looked around seeing im in my room in the palace! Then i remember master Reaver, and everything that happened! I look and see light coming out of my window, its day time.......wait what time is it?! I then realize that im alone, no mercenary girl in my head at all! Is she gone? Or was that all just a dream? No it could not be! Then i saw jasper walk in.
Jasper: oh good your awake, your brother is in the throne room waiting for you
Me: oh.....ok
I got dressed in a black and white silk princess outfit and put on my black boots and black headband after brushing my icy blue hair, it kinda looked lighter then usual if that was even possible and put it up in a pony tail, then i noticed the chests full of cloths and jewelry and.....weapons? Golden weapons! The ones i stole from Iris! Then i saw a golden hand mirror with jewels all over it! On the back of it was:"I+R", my eyes go wide, was Iris in love with reaver?!??? Then i found her Diary in the stuff! I decided to wait on reading that and put my bag on my waist and smiled then walked out of my room and to the throne room and sat in my usual spot after saying a small hello to my brother, reaver was here of course by my brother's side, i knew after this i would have to talk to my older brother and tell him everything......almost everything that is hehehe, i watch as my brother waved his hand some and some gaurds bring in Iris, her blue hair looked darker then mine! Oh wow!
King Logan: Iris, you stand here accused of treason against the crown, punishment is death!
Iris: w....what?! I've don't nothing wrong!
I watch in horror, honestly i never thought she would die, well die again heh then the front doors of the throne room burst open and in came mercenaries! Before i could do anything Reaver got infront of me and started to shoot mercenaries! I saw guards shoot mercenaries and some guards dying, my brother was shooting too! He looked pissed off! I then saw Saker........he grabbed Iris and fled! As iris was being taken away from the fight by saker, she tried to shoot me! Reaver used his cane to deflect the bullet! I was shocked and amazed and i heard Iris say:"I will be back! And you princess will die! All of you will die!". After that all of the mercenaries left, well the ones still alive anyways, i sighed as i see guards pick up there fallen comrades and the dead mercenaries and take them out of the room, i then look up at my brother who is now standing and told me to follow him, i do and so dose reaver, we walk to the war room and Logan tells me to sit on the couch, i do and reaver sat beside me and Logan sat in a comfortable chair across from me and he tells me to tell him everything and i do except the part about stealing from mercenaries heh, i told him about Iris trying to steal my body and how i could not remember anything, reaver basically told my brother the same thing but in his own way heh, my brother nodded and sighed some and told me to go to my room, i sighed and nodded and left as my brother and reaver talked, as im walking to my room i see a boy about my age with blond hair and blue eyes, he looks like he is a noble or some thing, probably from one of the rich families in Albion, i smiled at him some and he looks at me like..........well i dont know, ive never had some one look at me that way before, he then bows at me.
Boy: p.......princess......my name is Elliot.......n.....nice to be meeting you
Me: its nice too meet you too Elliot, my name is Ilia
Elliot: well Ilia, i hope we become the best of friends
Me: i hope so too
I hear a coughing sound and look up seeing reaver, he walks too me and chuckled some
Reaver: making friends with a servant boy now my sweet?
Me: servant?
Elliot: I'm no servant! I come from a rich family....
Reaver: oh i see, hmmm what family do you come from boy?
Elliot: the Oakland family
Reaver: Oakland? -laughs- that family of yours boy may be rich but there the poorest of the rich families and they serve the rich families to become more rich, so you are a servant
Elliot: your wrong!
Me:.........so how many rich families are there in Albion?
Reaver: well now let me think, there is the royal family, me, and about 5 more rich families
Elliot: 6.........you forgot to add my family
Reaver: i did not count it because there not as important, boy.
I see Elliot get mad and Reaver stay calm with a smirk then i felt a hand on my hand and see it was reaver then i look at Elliot who got even more mad, wait dose Elliot like me? Reaver then walks with me to my room.
Reaver: best to stay away from that boy my sweet, he works in the kitchen
Me: oh.....why would he lie?
Reaver: boys do stupid stuff when there in the presence of a beautiful girl like you
Me: -blushes- o....oh i see, masta weava....
Reaver: yes my sweet?
Me: when i was lost and that pirate girl was trying to take my body, i was scared, but when i heard your name i felt not so scared anymore, at the time i had no idea why but i do now
Reaver: you feel safe around me my sweet?
Me: i do -smiles-
I swear i saw reaver blush than i heard my room door open and i walked in hoping that reaver would follow but to my surprise he closed my door and locked it!
Reaver: im so sorry my sweet but i'm only doing what i was told to do, i will be back to check up on you my sweet
After he said that he left and i was alone so i went over to were i put Iris's diary and picked it up and sat on a couch in my room.

Dear diary,
Today is the first time i get to see the castle! Im sooooooo excited! Im now 5 years old and my father Saker is the leader of the Elite Guard! He said i get to meet the king! Im so excited! I got dressed in my best clothes and my blue hair is in braids, i smiled as i walked with my father from our house on the hill, my father said one day the place will be a base for guards to train and get better for the king, as i walk into the castle i see people looking at me and they looked shocked, once im in the throne room i see why, right next to the throne the king is in, i see a young girl about my age with blue hair! Me and her look like twins! No way! Then i see a handsome man standing on the other side of the throne, my father said the man's name is reaver, i should stay far away from him, after i meet the king i walk to the princess, she looks up at me from her sketch book and smiled, her blue hair in a ponytail, she looked like me but she was different from me in almost every way, that smile on her face was sooooo annoying like she could care less of anything! I hated it! Right then and there i decided that i would kill her one day and take her place! After me and my father left i ran to my room and started to wright down a list of things to do, about a year latter my father started to recruit Mercenaries! He said the king has put a price on my father's head because he quit his job, he hated the fact that he had to take orders from the king, he told me i was too young to understand, i tried to draw but i have no talent for art sadly, years go by and i see reaver leave his mansion going to the castle, ok so i might be obsessed with him a bit, once he is gone i sneak in threw a window and i make sure i don't get caught, usually no one is in the mansion so i sneak into his secret room and i steal some of his stuff, clothes, perfume, even a picture of him, as i'm about to leave, i see a picture on the wall, a drawing of the princess? Its above his desk.......why? I frowned and left, once i'm in my room at home i put reaver's stuff in a chest, put the cloths anyways, i put the perfume on my vanity and i put the picture up on my wall above my bed, my father dose not ever come into my room, over the years i've collected more of reaver's stuff and i've fallen in love with him! I've always wanted to tell him, i was sent on a mission too steal a ship full of stuff for my father, i then realized its a Reaver Industrial ship! I'm stealing from reaver! I looked threw crates seeing stuff like furniture and bedding? Is this all going to Reaver's mansion? This is insane! Ok so if I'm stealing from reaver then that means I get new stuff right? But stealing from a guy I like a lot is wrong, right? Me and the rest of the mercenaries got the ship safely to home with no problems, so I now have new reaver industries furniture! I've been watching Reaver a lot more since then, I'm now 17 and I've noticed my chest and hips got a lot bigger! In a good way! A lot of the mercenaries like how I look, my father glares at them, my father dose not have to worry though cause I'm only interested in Reaver, one day I snuck into the castle garden, it was kinda late so hardly anyone was out there, I hid in a bush seeing the princess sitting outside reading with a candle next to her, I got out my golden pistil and I was ready to shoot when I saw reaver walk out and talk to her, I could not hear what they talked about but the princess stood up and threw a apple very high up in the air and with out even looking away from the princess, he got out his custom made gun and shot the apple making it explode! It was amazing! He is amazing! I think I'm falling more for him! I watch as the princess and reaver walk into the castle, that will be me some day, I snuck around the bushes until I found an open window and climbed in, I hid and saw the princess go to the throne room, with out being noticed I managed to get into the princess's room, this place is huge! Way bigger than my room! Her cloths hung in a huge walk in closet that looked like a store! I was going to steal it all but I heard the door open and I quickly opened the window and climb out it and ran, I will be back soon! I returned home and my father gave me a mission to board a "pirate" ship to blend in with the pirates of Bloodstone, I heard a rumor about reaver being..........well a pirate! That can't be true right? I'm now off and will be back to update my diary, bye bye for now!.
Once I put the diary down I then sat down shocked, she was here a lot more than I thought! No way! I smirked and hid the diary and waited, once my door opened and I saw reaver I was going to tell him but stopped when I saw his face, he looked a bit upset.
Reaver: hello my sweet, I have some sad news
Me: oh? What is it?
Reaver: the castle is not safe for you to stay until the mercenaries are killed
Me: oh, we're am I going to go?
Reaver: well I wanted to have you stay with me at my mansion but your brother said it be better if you went to an island that has your parent's mansion on it
Me: you mean the summer home?
Reaver: yes, I will be going with you, I have not been there since...........
Me: since it was the Hero's guild base?
Reaver:........how did you?
Me: I read a lot, hero of skill hehehe
Reaver: how much do you know?
Me: not much, only about you being the hero of skill and helping my parents with Hammer and Garth
Reaver: oh so you went threw your parents diary's?
Me: yup! There is so much I don't know about you, like we're did you grow up? Who were you before my parents met you?
Reaver: my past is...........complicated, you need to pack, we leave immediately!
He smirked and left my room and I sighed some.
