I Got Drunk and Married an Arrogant Rockstar? You've got to be Kidding me! [13]

---

Previously...

"My mom used to say that I had the blood of a fighter," he said. "It's funny though. I don't feel like a fighter."

I wondered what brought that on. So I stayed silent.

"I really don't want to go to Denver." He ran a hand through his hair.

"Well, I don't want you to go either."

"Elena...I'm an ass, I know. But I actually really like you. "

I smiled as I stared at him. "I'd never thought I actually say this, but I like you too. And yes, you are an ass."

And with that, he kissed me.

---

Chapter 13...

The kiss wasn't really all that long. It was about fifteen seconds or so. It was unexpected, but it was definitely wonderful. Sure, it wasn't to the exact foot popping-and-fireworks extent, but it was pretty darn close.

Minutes later, we went to bed. Alex has to get up at five o'clock in the morning and I was planning on getting up with him at the same time.

Right now it's three (still in the morning). Alex is asleep currently, I'm not. Instead, I'm staring at him. I'm not tired right now, not even close. But he looks so content right now.

It might be a random thing to say, but of all the times I want to die, I want it to be in my sleep. When you're asleep you're at peace and you're unconscious of your surroundings. I just think it would be the best way to go.

I smiled to myself as I thought that I will see those gorgeous light green eyes again. Tomorrow.

Alex was now about to leave. The tour bus was waiting for him a few yards away from us. The thing looked like an oversized limo. It had more height, however, than it had length.

It was raining currently. It was coming down hard and it hadn't slackened the least bit since early dawn. I blinked as a raindrop fell right in my eye. I wasn't standing out in the open; I was standing under part of the extending roof. The rain could still get me, but it couldn't get a lot of me.

"Goodbye, Elena," Alex said. His hair was dampened from the rain and there were raindrop marks on his shirt.

"Bye," I forced a half smile.

Just like last night, he bent down to kiss me. It was just a short goodbye kiss, though.

He turned around and boarded the bus, in seconds it drove off. I stared at the ground as a few drops of rain hit me.

I sighed when I looked up; another raindrop fell in my eye.

I turned back and walked into the lobby. There were people walking and talking now. It was much busier than last night, which makes sense.

I continued going to the stairs, it would definitely take longer, but I didn't want to take the elevator.

When I got on the top floor, I walked into the apartment. Alex had given me a spare key, so I was able to get in. I guess I never really thought about needing a key before this week.

As I sat myself on the couch, I knew what I had to do.

I picked up my mobile phone from the coffee table and dialed Megan's number. It rang four times before she answered.

"Hello?" I was happy to hear her.

"Megan, it's Elena."

"OH. Hey!" She seemed surprised, which is better than her being mad.

"Sorry I haven't been in touch with you lately."

"It's fine. I heard about you and Alex. You have to tell me about him. I want details!"

I laughed, and tried to add some humor to it. "Yeah, about that... I'm sorry. I practically ditched you guys at the party with no explanation."

"Don't worry. I'm okay with it. Abby doesn't hate you either. She's actually happy for you, despite the fact that she still loves him." I pictured her shaking her head as she said it.

"Maybe we can meet up soon? We can catch up on each other."

"Sure. That'd be nice. I'm good with today. Abby wanted to have a sleepover of sorts with me tonight. You could stay, too. Abby will by fine with it."

"Thanks, Megan. I'd love to."

"Alright, just come whenever. I've got to go now, bye!"

"Bye." We both hung up. I smiled to myself afterwards. That went better than I thought it would have.

I packed my stuff for tonight in a duffel bag. All the while, I was practically praying that I wouldn't run into "you-know-who" while Alex was gone.

I was glad I was going to see Abby and Megan tonight. It would be just like old times.

It was currently nine o'clock A.M and I planned on going to Megan's at noon. So I had some free time to myself.

I found my book "To Kill A Mockingbird" and burnt about two hours reading. I also watched some television.

Before I knew it, the clock rang noon. I grabbed my stuff, slung it over my shoulder and walked out of the room. I took the stairs, again, to the main lobby.

I called for a cab once I was outside. If you've ever done that before, you'll know it's not the easiest thing to do.

After ten minutes, I finally got a can and requested a ride to Lancaster.

*Okay, I know my writing's not the best in this chapter, but I just wanted to get it out of the way. I skipped around a lot too, but it just wanted to get to the part where she's at Megan's house. So enjoy or don't enjoy.

Sheesh, I tried logging in to post this today and I had to click out of five ads on Wattpad that popped up on my screen. What's the deal with that?

I've also noticed all the stories about celebrities and rockstars that are being posted now. Funny.

Love you all!
