Chapter 18

Date: April 27, 1988

Michael's POV

Today, I have a show in Dallas but for the first time in a long time, I don't feel like going on stage I haven't slept with Tati since that day two weeks ago but I haven't told Shayne yet It's literally tearing me apart.!

Shayne knows that something's wrong but she doesn't know what Ugh, I just feel so stupid for betraying her all for a few hours of lust

Shayne: Michael.?

(I shook my head to get rid of my thoughts and looked at her. She had on a red blouse, a black blazer, black pants and red heels. Her hair was curly and pinned up.)

Michael: Yeah

Shayne: Michael, please talk to me You haven't been yourself for a while now

Michael: Shay, I just have a lot on my mind but I'm fine baby girl

Shayne: Mike, stop lying to me.! I'm trying to help.!

Michael: Shayne, this is something that will change us and I'm trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I did it.!

Shayne: Baby.....

(She walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. She hugged me tight.)

Shayne: Please tell me We'll get through it together

Michael:(Sighs) Shay, don't be mad at me, but I-

(I was interrupted by someone knocking on the door. I groaned loudly and ran my fingers through my hair.)

Shayne: That's probably Julie You ready.?

Michael: Yeah come on

(I put on my Fedora, Shayne grabbed my hand and we walked out of the room. Julie was outside and we all walked downstairs and got in the Escalade. 15 minutes later, we pulled up to the arena and got out.

I went to my dressing room and sat down on the couch. I put my head in my hands. I still don't know how the hell Im gonna tell Shay about this. I looked at the time and I heard a knock on my door.)

Michael: Come in

(The door opened and Greg walked in.)

Michael: Hey Greg

Greg: Hey I was just coming to see if you wanted to change the set list around for tonight.?

(I sat there and thought for a minute.)

Michael: Make The Way You Make Me Feel the last song

Greg:(Confused) Really.? (I nodded) Alright I'll make sure that everyone knows

Michael: Thanks

(He walked out and I got dressed. After I got finished, I walked out of my dressing room and went backstage. Shayne was standing behind the curtain, saw me and walked over to me.)

Shayne: Have a good show applehead

Michael: I will I love you baby girl

Shayne:(Smiles) I love you too Always

(She kissed me passionately and I pulled away. The music started and I ran out on stage.)

2 and 1/2 Hours Into The Show

The music for The Way You Make Me Feel started and Tatiana walked out The crowd was going crazy as I chased Tatiana around the stage Towards the end of the song, we were standing at the front of the stage when Tatiana turned around and kissed me passionately

She pulled away and winked at me The crowd went bananas and the song ended I ran backstage and Shayne looked ready to kill someone

Shayne: What the fuck was that.?!

Michael: Shayne, calm down.!!!

Shayne: Don't tell me to calm down.! She kissed my boyfriend and I'm supposed to calm down.??!!!

(She kept fussing when she all of a sudden got quiet. Everyone turned around and Tatiana was standing there smiling.)

Tatiana: Did you like the show, Shayne.?

(Shayne sighed and charged towards her. Before she could get to her though, I picked her up from behind and held her in my arms. Everyone jumped in between Shayne and Tati so that it would be difficult for Shayne to get to Tati.)

Shayne: Bitch's, you better be lucky he's holding me back

Tatiana: Oh whatever

(Shayne started to try to get out of my arms and I almost let her go.)

Michael: Shayne, stop it.!

Shayne: No.! She's trying with me.! 

(I carried her away to my dressing room. I opened the door, walked in, and closed it with my foot. I set Shayne down.)

Shayne: Michael, what the fuck is going on.?! Why would she just kiss you like that.?!

Michael: I don't know Shay...

Shayne: Ooo, I just wanna kill that girl right now.!!!

(She was pacing around the room. I walked over to her and grabbed her by her shoulders.)

Michael: Shayne, I have to tell you something

Shayne: What.?

(I took a deep breath and let it out. Here goes nothing.)

Michael: I cheated on you........ With Tatiana
