Chapter 20

Date: April 29, 1988

Michael's POV

The past day and a half has literally been hell for me I guess the word spread throughout the band and the dancers because none of them are talking to me Karen and Sheryl have cussed me out at least twice, and Tatiana got fired

Right now, I am on my way back to Neverland We have a week long break from the tour I have been so lost and depressed without Shayne around Jerry pulled up to the house I got out

Jerry: Are you gonna be alright, kid.?

Michael:(Sighs) I'm fine You go ahead and go see your family

Jerry:(Nods) Call me if you need me

(I did a fake smile and he got back in the car and drove away. I walked into the house and walk up the stairs to my room. When I opened the door, I saw Shayne sitting on the bed.)

Michael:(Smiles) Shayne....

Shayne: Hi Michael

Michael: What are you doing here.? I thought you went home

Shayne: When I left, I came back here

(I walked over to her and sat on the bed next to her.)

Michael: Shay, I'm so sorry

Shayne: Michael, I've spent the last day thinking about what happened and I can understand your part

Michael: So, you understand that it was a huge mistake, right.?

Shayne: Yeah but I also know that your mistake broke my heart

Michael: Shay, I never meant to do it.!

Shayne: I know that but I just......... I can't do that this......

(She got up and walked over to the door and grabbed two suitcases. She looked back at me and walked out of the room. I sighed and let the tears roll down my face. Wait....... I gotta stop her.

I jumped up, ran out of the room, and flew down the stairs. She was just about to open the front door but I ran up to her and wrapped my arms around her legs. She turned around and looked down at me.)

Shayne: Michael, what are you doing.?!

Michael: Please don't leave me.!! I'll kiss your feet every day, just don't leave me.!!!

Shayne:(Crying) Michael,........

(She dropped the suitcases and bent down to my level. She grabbed my face in her hands and made me look at her.)

Shayne: Baby, I love you...... I really do........ but you betrayed my trust in you

Michael: But Im begging you for your forgiveness.! Please don't leave me......

(She sighed and hugged me. I felt her tears drop onto my hair.)

Shayne: Maybe in the future, we can try again but right now,...... I need time, ok.?

(I sniffled and nodded. She looked at me and kissed my forehead.)

Shayne: But, I will always love you No matter what

Michael: I love with everything in me

(She smiled and wiped the tears off my face. We both stood up and fixed ourselves.)

Michael: So, this is goodbye.?

Shayne: You can never say goodbye to the person you love

(She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me passionately. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. After about a minute, we pulled away and she smiled at me.)

Shayne: See you later Michael

Michael: See you later Shayne

(She grabbed her suitcases and walked out of the door. I looked out of the window and saw her get into her car. She started it up and pulled out of the driveway, driving out of the gates.)

Michael:(Whispers) See you later
