I finished speaking and received applause from my audience.

"Questions?" A few hands shot up. I was giving a lecture on a drug I developed that would cure ebola.

After answering the questions I went back to my hotel room to skype my boyfriend.

"Howdy ma'am." He teased.

"Hello Zay." I smiled. I had a hard time getting close with people especially after Farkle and I broke up. I was surprised when I ran into an old friend one day and we immediately hit it off. We started hanging out more and eventually he asked me out. We had been together for four years and I was comfortable around him.

"How was your lecture?" He asked me.

"Amazing! They were attentive and asked intelligent questions." I said teasing him. He was not the most intelligent companion which is another reason why I was surprised we worked so well together.

"I listen!" Zay protested laughing through it.

"How is home?" I asked. I did not usually get homesick but after not seeing him in person for two weeks I missed it.

"It's not home without you." He winked. I blushed and smiled at my very own prince charming.

"I will be there tomorrow." I reminded him. "It better be clean!" I threatened.

"Yes Dear." He chuckled nervously. "So I wanted to talk to you about something. I got an email today. From Abigail Adams high."

"It has been a very long time since I have heard that name." I said thinking back to my high school days. I had come so far since then. "What did it say?" I questioned.

"Check it on your phone, you got one too." He instructed me. I pulled out my phone and read the email.

Save the date: July 22

Hey graduates of 2019! Come back to Abigail Adams high the 22 of July for your 10 year reunion. Hope you can all make it!

"A reunion? Do you really want to go?" I asked. I could tell he was eager to attend but I was a little unsure.

"Yes. Don't you want to see the gang again?"

"I have not yet informed Farkle of our relationship and I am afraid we may hurt him by flaunting our happiness." I admitted.

"We won't be overly affectionate at the event." Zay said trying to solve the problem.

"If this is what you truly desire, I will accompany you to our high school reunion." He gave a little cheer. We talked for an hour before deciding I should get to bed early so I would not miss my early morning flight.

I had two months to prepare myself for the grand social situation of the reunion.
