Lucas

"Hello?" Her beautiful voice rang through my ears.

"HI." I said cautiously. I knew she would be mad because I wasn't Zay.

"What the hell do you want?" She snapped angrily.

"I need to talk to you. What happened with Missy was a big misunderstanding. Please come back I will explain everything." I pleaded.

"Why should I trust you?" She was understandably skeptical.

"Because I love you Maya. I always have. Please let me fix this. I will do anything." I didn't realize how upset I was until I said this. I really did love Maya and I was terrified of losing her.

"Okay. I'll be there. Meet me by the front hallway." I was relieved she agreed and immediately headed out to the front hall.

"Lucas?" Missy called. For once she sounded like a normal human being instead of a soul sucking leech.

"Now is not the time." I sighed running my hand through my hair.

"I'm sorry I messed things up with you and Maya. I just wanted to show you something to make you feel better." She moved closer. I had a bad feeling about it.

"Thanks..." I said. She moved closer enough that I could feel her breath on my lips.

"Just tell me to stop and I will." She looked into my eyes and my heart started racing.

"Uh Um..." I stuttered not being able to focus. "St-" Her hand was on my thigh and it threw me off.

"What was that?" Before I could do anything her lips were on mine and we were having a heated make out session in the middle of the hall.
I wanted to stop but I couldn't.

I was finally able to push her away but it was too late. My blonde beauty sprinted away.

"Maya!" I called but she didn't turn around. I had lost her. I whirled back around to face Missy. "Why would you do that?!" I yelled.

"You weren't exactly stopping me."

"I tried! Now because of you I just lost the woman I've been in love with for over 15 years!" I shouted startling her. Missy backed away.

"I'm sorry." She mumbled.

I stormed past her only to be face to face with Zay who was fuming.

"What did you do?!" He questioned his tone of voice dangerously low.

"What?" He held up his phone to show me.

I thought we were friends! I can't believe you helped him with this sick joke. Go to Hell Isaiah Babineaux.

"I'm sorry Maya came back so I could tell her the truth but then Missy was on me and I didn't know what to do-"

"You stop her Lucas! Now not only did you hurt one of my best friends but you made me lose her. That is unforgivable." Before I could protest Zay walked away not looking back. He came back minutes later with Smackle on his arm. They both wore their coats.

"Goodbye Lucas." Smackle weakly smiled while Zay didn't even give me a glance.

I went home not knowing what else to do. Everyone I cared about left. I went home to my crappy apartment thinking about how badly I screwed things up with Maya, hoping that one day she would give me another shot.
