Izzy and I left after my fight with Lucas. When we got to our hotel is jumped in the bed fully clothed and groaned.

"Are you okay?" She asked walking over taking a seat beside me.

"No. I think I just lost two of my best friends." I sighed rubbing my temples to try to calm myself.

"Everyone is just a little tense. I'm sure it will all blow over in a day." I was amazed by how far she had come and how she had such a good grasp on the situation at hand.

"I'm proud of you." I smiled kissing her head. "But I don't think it will. I can never forgive Lucas for what he did."

"Isaiah." Is started, her use of my full name catching me off guard."That is not fair to him. He made a mistake. Get over it. He has made them before. So have I. So have you."

"Yes. And his mistake may have cost me one of the people I love the most."

"And you are letting it cost you two. Forgive and forget."

"No." I groaned. I hated fighting with her but I couldn't forgive Lucas. He didn't deserve my forgiveness.

"Well you have to make up with him before next July." She shrugged. I shook my head at her.

"That bastard is not coming to our wedding." I spat. "And that is final." She stood up and folded her arms glaring at me.

"Lucas was not just your best friend. He is my friend and I want him there!" She protested. I stood up to look down on her.

"Then maybe you should find a different groom." I snapped staring into her tear filled eyes. I had never seen her cry before. I had seen her come close but not this close. It broke my heart to know I had caused her that much sadness. "I'm sorry." I mumbled guiltily. I moved closer to hug her but she cowered away.

"Do not touch me."

"Izzy I-"

"We will discuss this more in the morning. I just...I can not look at you any longer." She turned away and went into the bathroom. There was only one bed in the room and I knew she wouldn't want to share with me at the moment so I pulled out some pillows and blankets and laid them out on the floor. I changed quickly and by the time she emerged from the bathroom I was tucked away in my floor bed.

"Goodnight my love." I said to her over the edge of the bed. All I got in return was silence before a gentle snore lulled me into sleep.
