The next day.
When the news broke out to the whole school that Adria and Ron were dating , everyone was screaming and jumping.
"TWO OTP'S CANON IN ONE YEAR? Miracles do come true!!!"
"YASSS"
"BOUT THE RIGHT TIME YEAH"
Everyone congratulated Ron and Adria. Everyone except for Jay. Candice felt sad for him. He felt so down , like the reaper took out his soul. He was pale and quiet , didn't say a single word. Jay walked around the corridors to get to his next class.
And there she was , the girl of his dreams , that slipped away from his grasp because of the wrong decision. The girl that he thought of every now and then , now in somebody else's hands. The congratulating words that was flooded and went straight his ear , now stuck on his mind forever.
As Ron held Adria's waist he couldn't help but feel disappointed. He thought Adria would've been elated , she may be smiling , but he knows she isn't happy. Oh he heard that sadness in her voice. He noticed the small weak smiles she gave. He caught every single moment of Adria avoiding his gaze. All the greetings were supposed to make him the happiest man in the world , but it wasn't enough without Adria loving him back.
None of them were actually happy.
Jay stood at that spot , right in front of them , not knowing he was there longer than he thought. He just stood there frozen , in deep sadness. He felt weak. He felt sad. He felt angry at himself. He couldn't feel any happiness at all. And as Adria looked toward his direction , the smile that's used to cover up her sadness wasn't able to do it's worth. Her eyes turned the same color Jay had in his eyes. And her lips dropped down into a weak frown.
When they realized they were looking straight into each other's eyes , they both instantly looked away , and had this sense of reflex. Jay had continued to walk , fast , and Adria whispered a small "lets go" to Ron. Ron , he didnt know Jay was there. He didnt need to anymore. He's got Adria all to himself , so he doesnt have to worry. He's been waiting for this is whole life. He doesnt need some Jay guy to bother him.
A few days later Jay and Candice broke up earlier than their due date. Now Jay was left all alone. He had friends , but , it didn't really help Jay much. All they said was to get over it because that's life.
No one knew the connection between Jay and Adria. They were forced to be with someone who loves them , but they knew their hearts didn't want them. They wanted to be with each other.
But sadly that never got to work out.
