Jay walked around the park right after Candice had left from the cafe with a gloomy aura around her. All he could do now was think about how freaking stupid he is. It was already around 8 PM and he was still there , sitting on the bench. Everything was well lit up , with fairy lights. Jay sank deeply in his thoughts.

Yes , Jay , you did hurt her that much.
"Yo." Jay shot up to the familiar eyes , and was quite embarrassed. It was Ron Gale. Ron didn't look very happy though.
"Hey." Jay said.
"I wanted to talk to you. About Adria." Ron said , sitting on the space right beside Presley.
"What's there to talk about her?"
"Don't play dumb on me , Presley."
"I'm not."
"I'm well aware that you like Adria and not Candice. And asking out someone who you don't truly like to cover up your true colors isn't a good move." Ron said , glaring daggers at Jay.
"I don't know what you're talking about here. I love Candice with all my hea-"
"As much as I want to punch you right now for your overwhelming stupidity , I won't for Adria's sake. But don't lie to me ,Presley. This little game of yours isn't funny. You've caused a ton of damage to Adria but this? This is too much. Do you want to hurt her that badly? What the hell has she ever done to you , tell me? Do you know how many times I had to see her crying , just because she loves you that much? For f**k's sake man. Tell her you like her , before it's too late. She's trying her best to get this sht done. And don't expect her to come to school tomorrow. She aint dealing with your sht just yet." Ron ranted angrily. Jay was left speechless , and both regret and guilt flooded through his veins.
"Now if you will excuse me , I have to go buy potatoes for my mom's ingredients. Don't tell Adria this happened." And Ron was gone for the potatoes.
"I'm really stupid , aren't I?"
